"I have been to this restaurant twice in the last month. Yesterday, 09/11/2023, was the second time. The first time I was there, I ordered two California hand rolls that listed Tobiko as one of the fillings. I did not happen to notice any in the handrolls that I had. Yesterday I ordered four California handrolls and again checked what ingredients should be in there and Tobiko was one of them. Each handroll was 7.50 and none of the handrolls had any Tobiko in them. I had taken the handrolls home to eat and only found out then that they had no Tobiko. Being someone who has made a lot of sushi for a lot of people, it angered me that whoever failed to put it on my handroll had cheated me and they knew it. I’m sure they thought that the person they sold it to would not know the difference. They were wrong. I have a Monroe County Sheriff’s deputy who will back up the fact that I know what I am talking about. Whoever made that sushi should be advised that this is fraud. Stop cheating your customer!! The food is great, the service is excellent. I'll never be disappointed when I come here. This is one of my favorite restaurants in Canandaigua. You can come with your important other, friends or family any occasion.

Delicious. No waiting for a weekend is incredible. Common appetizers (Gyoza, Miso Soup and Ginger Salat) were all better than average. Sushi was phenomenal. Learn how to use hopsticks and order everything. No alcohol.

It was fun. Not too expensive for the five of us adults. Everyone enjoyed themselves. The hibachi chef was entertaining and the food was quite delicious. We were all full leaving so we didn't need to get a pizza on the way home. View menu

This restaurant is truly heavenly. The decor is stunning, featuring beautiful paper dragons and serene Zen lanterns. The food is exceptional, exceeding all expectations of exquisite cuisine. They even serve complimentary soup before your meal, and the sushi is incredibly delicious, hard to describe in words. Sakura Japanese Steak Hibachi is a little piece of paradise on Earth.

Whether you're dining in or taking out, this Japanese restaurant is a must-try. The sushi is fresh and served in generous portions, with signature rolls that are truly exceptional. The dishes are artistically presented, and the sauces are perfectly balanced—not overpowering but wonderfully complementary. The prices are very reasonable, and the location is convenient. The staff is friendly and accommodating as well. I genuinely wished I could give them 6 stars!
