"We ordered nine different dishes for the three of us, and I would rate four of them as excellent, one as good, and four as just okay—not very flavorful. Overall, that means over 50% of the items were enjoyable, which is pretty decent for a Japanese Express restaurant. I would give this place three stars, but there were a few standout dishes that were truly exceptional. The Crab Egg Roll appetizer was absolutely mouthwatering, and the Sakura Roll was incredibly tasty. I really enjoyed both the Eel Roll and the Salmon Roll as well. On the other hand, I found the California Roll and the Spicy Tuna Roll rather bland. The Chicken Fried Rice was satisfactory, nothing extraordinary, and the Spring Roll was just average. All in all, the prices are great, the service is quick, and the staff is very friendly. I'd say it deserves an overall rating of four stars for its speed, customer service, and decent fast food options."

The experience was decent overall. The California roll lacked seasoning and had an excessive amount of rice, but I really enjoyed the sakura roll and the crab egg roll. We also didn't have to wait long for our food, and there was no line, which was a plus. View menu

The food was disappointing. The egg drop soup was particularly terrible, with an off-putting flavor. I definitely won't be ordering from this restaurant again. We tried four dishes, and only one of them was acceptable. If they intend to serve food of such low quality, they really should consider lowering their prices. I've never encountered bad egg drop soup—until now.

I ordered General Tao’s chicken, and I’ve found that every restaurant puts its own spin on this dish! At Skura, it was served with chicken pieces fried in a thicker, flavorful 'red' sauce that had just the right amount of heat. It came with a few pieces of broccoli and a side of white steamed rice. The portions were very generous, enough for two or even three meals. I highly recommend Skura in Flowood!

This is my favorite spot to get sushi from! There's not a big crowd there at all, you can either dine in or place a too go order. The sushi here is outstanding! My favorite one is the flowood roll. They have plenty of sushi rolls to choose from on the menu. The staff is very friendly and helpful especially if you don't know what to get. I enjoy coming here to get sushi and I would recommend any sushi lover to give this place a try. View menu

I agree with another reviewer that something has definitely changed. The rice was barely fried the last time I went. It was overcooked and tasted like they just tossed it with oil real quick. The seasoning really only ever consisted of salt and pepper and maybe a few green onions for garnish but even that was severely lacking the last time I went. The teriyaki sauce couldn't even save it. Probably not going back and I've eaten here for years.

I absolutely love this restaurant, but I've noticed that it has been taking a long time to receive food over the past year. Please, stop telling customers it will be just 15 minutes when it's actually going to take 40, or saying it will be ready in 30 minutes when it really takes an hour and 15 minutes. Just be honest with your patrons. I’m currently here, and you mentioned 30 minutes; it has now been 55. It’s frustrating when you continuously provide a certain time estimate, only for it to take twice as long or more. Thank you.
