"Giving this place one star is honestly pretty generous. One star is for the cleanliness and comfort of the room for our group of 20 people. But beyond that, it was a horrible overpriced experience. Three main reasons: (1) Beware of the hidden fees that they do not share prominently 20% service fee for all room bookings and 20% gratuity for food and drink ordered from your room with no option to change. Highly recommend ordering all drinks from the bar where you can choose your gratuity amount. 20% is normally what I would tip for good service, but 20% just for the room booking? Unacceptable. (2) The entire staff, with the exception of one person, was either incredibly rude or unhelpful. (3) Drinks are weak. I took a group of 60+ yr olds for my mom’s birthday. They are all two drinks max type of people not here given the limited amount of alcohol in the cocktails. If you’re looking for a great experience with great staff and reasonable pricing DO NOT go here!!!"

If you're looking for a good time, don't come here. Their technology is unusable and the song selection is EXTREMELY imitated. I had my birthday in Sakura and I was very disappointed. Lincoln Karaoke on the north side is waaaayyyyyyyy better than this place!

It was okay. I reserved a room for my birthday and the person over the phone said it would be $185 including tax. Then I show up to the place and they charged me $210. The music selection was a bit hard to navigate and I was kinda sad because I wanted Latin music and they didn’t have much of it. I had fun with my friends, but honestly wish I had done something else instead.

Amazing food, amazing service, and even better atmosphere! Sunliner makes you feel like you just walked into the 50s. There are cars you can dine in (only a couple so you may have to wait if you request one red one and pink one) the food menu is in the form of a 50s pigeon forge newspaper. The fries are like no other they have different milkshakes where they bring you the extra ice cream/milkshake on the side.Their gift shop is filled with vintage toys you can buy Sunliner apparel. One of my favorite restaurants by far. Glad I stopped by while I was on vacation here. View menu

I had an absolutely thrilling time at this karaoke bar on my date with my girlfriend! We arrived around 10:30 pm and things were pretty quiet, but by 11pm the place was packed with performers and the energy was electric. The staff was friendly and the song selection was great. I have to say, I was a little worried that the early start time would mean a slower pace, but I was pleasantly surprised by how quickly the place filled up and how much fun we had.Overall, I'd give this karaoke bar a solid 4 stars. It was an exciting and memorable date night, and I'm already planning our next visit.

Don’t Go to this Place I definitely wouldn’t try this location for karaoke and this is the reason why.-there is a cover charge to enter the public karaoke area $32-the music list is not user friendly and the staff isn’t very helpful to find your music selectionAfter signing up to get a room, my group decided to leave 10mins after getting there(an hour before our room was available) the manager informed me that i would still be charged $130 even tho we didn’t even get to use the room. Definitely bad business practices and poor customer. I was hoping to get my money back since we didn’t even get to use the room.

"Tempesta is arguably one of the best sandwich shops in the city. They make a lot of their meats in house and use high quality ingredients so you know you’re getting the good stuff. Not only can you get a great sandwich, you can purchase most of their meats to go as well as other small artisanal grocery items. I have tried almost every sandwich they have on the menu but my top two choices would be the #1 The Dante and the #2 Yo! Vincenzo! The Dante is their version of a classic Italian sandwich but a bit on the spicier side. The Yo Vincenzo is a chicken parm and I personally think it’s the best chicken parm sandwich in the city. The chicken is perfectly crispy, and they use just the right amount of sauce where it doesn’t get soggy. Both of these sandwiches come on their fresh baguette which helps set them apart from other sandwich spots in Chicago just because of how good it is. The B Franklin is also a great option, and if you’re starving get the Wagyu Pastrami but be warned it is a very heavy sandwich because of that Wagyu. The last pro tip I’ll add in here is order your sandwich ahead of time if you’re doing takeout. This is a very popular spot and is always busy during the lunch rush so if you wait to order until you arrive you may need to wait for 10-15 minutes. That should speak to how good this place is because it’s in such high demand, so if you’re in Chicago make sure you stop in!"
