"Review for Sal Vitale's Italian Restaurant And Pizzeria During a Sunday drive, we ended up in Muscatine and decided to try Sal Vitale's Italian Restaurant And Pizzeria based on the excellent reviews. We were not disappointed! The restaurant offers great, authentic Italian cuisine. Both of us opted for a calzone, and the homemade crust was absolutely delicious and flavorful. The staff was incredibly friendly, and the owner even took the time to chat with us about our meal. This personal touch made the experience even more special. The enticing aromas of other dishes being served have us eager to return. We are more than willing to make the hour and a half drive again in the future to try something different from their menu. Highly recommend!"

Awesome place to eat, I will definitely keep coming back, I definitely recommend anyone traveling to Muscatine to come here, the food and service here is fantastic, and the food is best in Iowa.

I wished we lived closer!!! I would be a regular. We stopped off here on our way to a Riverboat cruise. I had shrimp with their special sauce over pasta. I'm older, so I have years and years of eating that dish at 100s and 100s of places. It was easily the best I've ever had!!!!! I've since tried other places closer to home we live at least 8 hours away). Other places are just not as good taste wise View menu

We love Sal Vitale’s and wish we lived closer! Tonight, I am thankful for the ability to call them, place our order (lobster ravioli and spaghetti with meatballs) and It was ready when we got there. We were in and out in less than 30mins! Talk about Good Food Fast! We purposely stop everytime we come through Muscatine or Wapallo around lunch or dinner. I just wish it was more often! We generally get extra food for leftovers! These two places are definitely worth the stop!

My very first time here tonight and had the BEST experience I 've ever had at any restaurant! The atmosphere and staff just makes you feel safe and at home! The food is absolutely AMAZING (it was sooooo good I wanted to cry) and the staff is so considerate! 10/10 definitely recommend! Their manners are great and the are so very polite, the hospitality in general is enough to make you want to come back. I even heard the owner tell one of the staff members there Thank you, have a goodnight, and make sure someone walks you out! Such a good man! He really puts faith back into humanity. I love this place and will be coming back VERY SOON!
