"Amazing diner food! My husband ordered the grilled walleye dinner, while I had the spinach pie (spanakopita). The lemon chicken rice soup was the best I've ever tasted, just like the spanakopita. My husband said the walleye was grilled to perfection. I really hope to return while in Monroe. Sal, the owner, was both cooking and managing the kitchen, and the service was exceptional. The small restaurant had a great atmosphere, and there were plenty of take-out orders as well. Guy Fieri should definitely check this place out!"

Wife and I stopped in to try it out after hearing they had great perch. My wife had it. They were so small it looked like they were breaded baby carrots. Lousy taste. I had filet of pickerel broiled. It was ok. If you want great perch go to Luna Pier at Chateau Louise. You won't be sorry....

From out of town second visit to this place...it's a pretty solid diner to order from. Good sign when you go in at 730pm and it's jam packed with locals! Chopped sirloin could have used some brown gravy is really the only thing holding me back from 5 stars. Perch dinner and baked potato excellent. Will revisit this diner on next trip to Monroe. Oh..banana pudding is the best!

I had an amazing dinner featuring ribs! The half rack was enough to satisfy three days' worth of cravings. The beef soup was the best I've ever tasted. Instead of a traditional birthday cake, I opted for rice pudding, which was the perfect way to finish off the meal. Even with the dining room nearly full, the service was quick and attentive, and every request was met. Food: 5/5.
