"I absolutely love Salt & Straw! It’s one of the best ice cream parlors in San Diego. We ordered two double waffle cones—one featured cinnamon snickerdoodle, birthday cake, and blackberries, while the other had chocolate gooey brownie and salted malted chocolate chip cookie dough. The flavors are fantastic! The staff is very friendly and helpful, and the line moves quickly. There are also plenty of nice tables outside to enjoy your ice cream. Highly recommended!"

I had the oat milk cookie and it was horrible. It was not actually ice cream but more like a mush on top of that. It cost nearly 7 dollars for one small scoop. completely not worth it.

I absolutely love their ice cream, but this time I was really let down. My favorite flavor is the pear and blue cheese, so I bought five pints, but there was no blue cheese and not a single piece of pear in any of them. I'm very, very disappointed.

Our group of 9 came in over the long weekend. Shahin helped us. He was warm, welcoming, and generous with samples. He made recommendations based on each person's likes and dislikes, answered all of our questions, and was patient when some of us were indecisive. Our experience was excellent because of him. This was my first visit to this location, and we were assisted by the most delightful person at the counter. Freya was incredibly kind and encouraged us to try as many flavors as we liked. She was truly exceptional, making us feel at ease and not rushed at all. Her warm demeanor made the experience so enjoyable. I can't wait to come back and explore more flavors!

Our family often come but I’ve never met this special staff last Tuesday. I watched him for a while with pretty long waiting line and he was keep smiling and gave several samples to each customer. Even some of them just left without purchasing any single ice-cream cone but he was so nice. I could not remember his name but hope I can see him again! I believe a great service with smile can make a change the food’s flavor.
