It’s clear that they don’t even try to clean the oysters before frying them. It was a terrible experience.

I visited today and overall, everything was fine. I ordered chicken wings, but they lacked seasoning. I don't think I'll be returning.

Excellent family owned southern style seafood and chicken restaurant. Food has excellent flavor and has a good batter with light fry. The crab cakes and shrimp are magnificent! A little off the beaten path but safe, clean, A rated and simply delicious!

Loved the shrimp plate but they should include sweet tea with the already expensive meal and then I would say it would totally be worth it. I enjoyed the atmosphere and saw 2 people that hadn't seen in years there. I love them and would've given them 5 stars

The food at Sams is delicious and served promptly. However, I’m rating it 3 stars because it’s hard to place an order by phone; they often don’t answer or just tell you to come to the window. This can be frustrating, especially for parents with small children who don’t want to go inside or are looking for a quick meal. Improving their phone service would make a big difference.

Delicious food served hot and fresh by friendly, helpful staff! The portions are generous! The shrimp, fish, and chicken were all large, juicy, and cooked fresh after we ordered. I couldn't finish everything in one sitting! This place is conveniently accessible from the Interstate. We were really glad we chose it for dinner! The woman at the counter greeted many customers by their first names while we enjoyed our meal, asking if they wanted the same sides or sauce as before!

Wow! During our drive from Texas to Florida, we stopped for dinner and were pleasantly surprised. Don’t let the exterior mislead you—the food was outstanding! The chicken strips are massive, and everything is hand-breaded. I tried the fried shrimp, while someone else ordered the catfish, and the red beans and rice were delicious. We had a large group with a hefty order, and all of our food arrived piping hot. The ladies at the counter were friendly and helped us navigate the extensive menu.
