"The waitress was very quick and attentive. Our food came out faster than it could have been cooked. It was refrigerator cold. Waitress took it to be redone and it came out sizzling 3 minutes later. When I went to pay the older woman charged 25 for my plate about 10 more than the menu called for and when I mentioned the cold food she asked if they had fixed it. I said yes they microwaved it and she looked me dead in my face and lied saying that they recooked it. It was not recooked it was the exact plate I sent back. I will not be returning."

"This may be the best restaurant between Little Rock and Monroe or Shreveport, and it could compete with any house in those cities. We just enjoyed great service and several small plates dessert, so can vouch for the house and caeser salads, flatbread (loaded risotto packet goat cheese dip/crostini, and the smoked quail. Also NY style cheesecake. Huge wine list. Historic building. Attentive service."

"the place is enchanting! it is a real house with authentic wooden and chandeliers! the decoration is too sweet! I didn't know what to expect from the menu, but was pleasantly surprised! I ordered a combo with cats, garnel, oyster and gumbo. I almost couldn't decide with dingen on the menu like roasted green tomats and black eyeballs! the personal was the epitome of the southern hospitality! the gumbo was good with a lot when sausage and huh. the garnel, welse and oysters were good. the luxuriant puppies were homemade and tasty! marvellous brows and fries have finished my meal. definitely worth the chance that I tried a new place!"

"This restaurant was amazing. I would definitely recommend it to my friends and family. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. The club sandwich was outstanding, and the atmosphere of the place is very cool to see. There is also some interesting history behind the building, so it's definitely worth checking out. They offer takeout service for dinner, with prices ranging from $10 to $20 per person. I would give the food, service, and atmosphere all a rating of 5. Some recommended dishes include fried pickles, chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and cole slaw, fish with fried green tomatoes, baked potato, fried mushrooms, cheeseburger, boiled shrimp, french fries, catfish, bacon cheeseburger, fried okra, half order of catfish steaks, fried green beans, and fish. The parking situation is unclear, but there is free street parking available."

"I usually dont have a problem with my service here but today it was TERRIBLE!!! Ordered 2 smashers and 2 slushes on the app, checked in, saw my order eventually just vanish off the screen and NEVER GOT MY FOOD!! How do the people inside and all the carhops walking in and out see a 300lbs man sitting on the damn bench in almost 90 degree weather waiting on an order and NOBODY stops to ask if he has been helped?!?! Then when he finally started questioning about our order, come to find out, it was sitting there ready THEY CLAIM and NOBODY ever brought it out to him. 20 minutes in the heat waiting on supposedly already made food we never got."
