"This is a good go-to place for sushi, it’s fresh, delicious, and willing! I really needed sushi in my body and did some minor researching and concluded that this is one of the best spots in town to grab some sushi. Since I’m usually a party of one it’s much easier to get seated and to get seated quickly. So, if you are coming with a party two or larger and it’s during their rush or weekend nights, you might have a little bit of waiting ahead of you. But it does look like people are in and out of here quickly with a smile, so why not partake? This was my first time here, but I have been a few more times since the initial retrieval. There is a large list for eating and one for drinking and you can’t go wrong with both. The food was out relatively quick, staff were kind and efficient, meaning yes, I would come here again and probably again. I have even tried options I don’t usually order but let me tell you, I thought I wasn’t a tofu person, but now, I ain’t mad at it. They even have fried tofu, try it."

I've had a lot of sushi, I did not expect to find quality sushi in Lansing, but lo and behold! One of the best sushi places I've been too. The Mango roll was incredible! View menu

I thought the restaurant was excellent. The atmosphere and service were both fantastic. Our large group had a variety of dishes to share, and I felt that we received good value for our meal. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone, whether or not they enjoy sushi.

I was blown away by this restaurant! The menu offers a wide variety of choices and everything I tried was fantastic. I particularly enjoyed the double salmon roll and the fisherman's roll - both were delicious and beautifully presented. This was my first visit, but I will definitely be returning in the future.

If you want to spend 3 hours at dinner then go here. We waited for 1 hour and 45 minutes for our food. Our waitress failed to acknowledge us for a good 50 minutes and didn’t even check in with us. This is the second time I have experienced these wait times at Sansu. After all of this they didn’t even offer to comp our food. By far the WORST service I have ever experienced at a restaurant. Advice to management: don’t take delivery/to go orders on weekends. I will never go here again. Focus on the getting the orders out in a reasonable time frame. View menu

We had a fantastic experience at this restaurant, with amazing service and delicious sushi and sashimi. We sat at the bar and were well taken care of by Sam the bartender, who was eager and friendly. We enjoyed 5 rolls, a soft shell basket, and a few drinks for a reasonable price of $117 before tip. The chefs did a great job, and we will definitely come back again because my son had a great time. We wish we had discovered this place sooner, but we are looking forward to returning on football Saturdays. Please continue to maintain the high quality of food and service until then!

First time visiting here on March 21, 2023. First, the staff were very nice, and helpful to a couple of us who had no real experience with sushi. The location is very clean, and it has a nice ambiance. Comfortable seating. Vast and diverse menu with enough to satisfy anyone, even picky eaters. The miso soup and the salad were both outstanding. The dressing on the salad was really some of the best I 've had in a sushi restaurant. The sushi itself, perfect. It was made well, it was served and presented very nice, and it tasted very good.
