"TLDR: Nice spot for hot soupy ramen during the cold Boston winter. All selections are good. Don’t order through delivery service, portion’s a bit smaller, go dine in. Will need to wait for seats.I have eaten here an unhealthy amount when I was going to college. It was not cheap, but it has the “tiny Japanese ramen shop” vibe, and the foods are good! You do have to wait for the seat almost every time, so be prepared for that. Kara miso is probably my favorite, with Shoyu being a close second. Go give it a try! It’s not going to blow your mind, but you certainly would not mind some good ramens in your life."

The ramen was fantastic. Definitely worth the 45 minute queue outside the restaurant. However, I'd be happy if they could add more vegetarian options!Food: 5/5

The food was good. But the service could have been improved. We sat outside that was the best place I guess for late evening dinner. What a pleasant weather it was!!

This review is from a vegetarian perspective. Seeing a vegetarian ramen option made me go to this place but the noodles have egg in them so, not really vegetarian. One of the very very few vegetarian options available was Natto Gohan which wasn’t good. This place is not vegetarian friendly. View menu

Keep in mind that the restaurant is quite small, so you might not have a table to yourself, especially during busy times. My friend and I were seated across from each other, with strangers on either side. If you prefer a more private dining experience, this might not be the best choice for you.

I could enjoy a meal here every day! This restaurant completely changed my perception of ramen. The atmosphere and layout are a bit unconventional, as you'll be seated next to strangers inside. However, the delicious food almost compensates for that. Overall, we dined here three times during our trip and plan to return. Food: 5/5!

Very small and intimate restaurant. There are only two tables of six 7 counter seats inside. An additional 4 tables are available outside. As a result, we waited about 20 min for a table on a Wednesday night and sat at the counter. The broth (I had miso) is very good. The reason it didn’t get a 5 is b/c I feel the noodle had too much baking soda. Hope this can be addressed. View menu

I visited this restaurant with a friend after a long day of exploring downtown. There was a line outside, but the wait was relatively short—about 15 minutes—since they use shared tables. The menu isn’t extensive, but the food they offer is fantastic. I ordered their signature dish, Shio Ramen, and it was excellent—authentic and fresh in flavor. I would definitely eat here again!

I have had vegetarian ramen here. There are only two veg options. Even the vegetarian ramen comes with noodles containing egg. So, technically you have only one veg option. It's Natto Gohan (fermented beans with rice). The Ramen here is decent and it is different from the other places I have been so far. It doesn't have any veggies. So, if you are a vegetarian this is not a place for you.I have no complaints about the service and ambience.I have been to this place on a Friday night and probably the reason for a 15-20 minutes waiting time. Overall, it's a good place.

"No soup/sandwich shop compares in terms of price per quality, portion size, and different options in the area. I only started ordering from here about 2 weeks ago and I’ve now had 7 different kinds of soups and 4 different kinds of sandwiches after the first order I started ordering two soups and a sandwich aka a soup to save for later because they’re just that good, every one of them. Price is so very reasonable and depending on which combo you get you can make out with a full sized sandwich and large sized homemade soup for $14.While it’s hard to recommend one thing over another in this circumstance since it’s all been great in their own ways, the Chicken Chowder is something I plan on getting a quart of next time it’s available. The Chicken Barley and Chicken Lemon Rice are ones I plan on getting quarts of in the future as well, and that’s not to discount the Chicken Noodle, Beef and Veg Noodle Stew, French Onion, and the current seasonal Chilled Gazpacha (which I probably wouldn’t have even tried it wasn’t from these guys . It’s all top quality. The Chicken Tarragon sandwich is my favorite in terms of sandwiches although it can’t combo with a soup as of now (please let us! . The best cheap soup combo sandwich is a tossup between the Cilantro Tuna and Ciabatta Sandwich, which are both incredible in their own ways. The only few drawbacks to this place are they don’t have every soup they make every day, are only open until 4PM, and aren’t open on the weekends. That said it’s worth it to plan accordingly for this. I never review anything but this place is worth it it’s the best if you’re a soup and sandwich person like I am."
