"Okay so after reading the other reviews I was probably gonna give 5 stars because half these wanna be critics are just crybabies. But I had to give a 4 and here is why: I ordered the fried shrimp wontons and green curry with chicken. I was asked if spicy was okay for the curry. Being someone who loves spicy food I said sure...I recieved the wontons and wow they were just out of the fryer. So hot i should have paid more attention being the restuarant wasnt very busy and my order came really quickly. So I let them cool off a little before enjoying. They were played nicely and pricing was more than fair. The salad garnish added some color to the plate but I was expecting the traditional cucumber salad. I wasnt disappointed though. I recieved the curry and served some over the rice to soak in. That first bite I was like wow this is spicy like super spicy. But I continued to eat and finished. The spicy was so intense it was hard to palate all the other flavors of the dish I usually enjoy. The curry was a little light on the normal flavors I could taste through the spice. When the server came back with the check I told her she wasn't joking about being spicy. She laughed and said she things this batch of thai chilies was really hot . Knowing that she should warn the customers. I was by myself so I usually pick a spot in the back with a good view of the establishment. Personally I think they should invest in decor. A small bow and not wearing a Tokyo shirt. I may have to go back to speak to the owner and try to help consult with them."

I dined at this restaurant for the first time and the food was incredible! The service was outstanding too. I will definitely return. Food rating: 5/5.

I had an excellent experience with this meal. The yum woon sen was exceptional, showcasing a fantastic balance of sourness, sweetness, and spiciness, though it was a little spicier than I had asked for. The tofu rad na was also quite tasty, with a gentle sweetness in the noodles, which had a lovely char. View menu

Good selection and tofu options for vegetarians. Overall I've had more flavorful Thai but still good.My favorite part was that the curry arrived in a giant gravy boat. It brought back the time I was in Thailand for Thanksgiving many years ago. Now you are probably thinking that there is no Thanksgiving there since Thanksgiving is an American holiday, but you'd be wrong. Thanksgiving wrong! Many of the families in Chiang Mai have adapted our version of Turkey Day with their own local Thai fare. Noodles in the shape of a bird. Papaya salad made to look like mashed potatoes, and yes, even gravy boats filled with spicy curry. All of this I just made up, but it was still fun slurp yellow spicy good...

The staff at the restaurant was friendly and accommodating, providing quick service. The food was absolutely delicious, particularly the desserts. The coconut ice cream was delightful, featuring generous chunks of coconut meat, while the sweet sticky rice stood out with its lovely blue color. We also enjoyed the piping hot fried bananas wrapped in a delicate pastry, reminiscent of lumpia or spring rolls. However, I do have one complaint: the plastic utensils were incredibly flimsy and the worst I’ve ever encountered. I understand that California is working to reduce plastic usage, but as tourists, we didn’t have any other options for eating. Overall, the food was fantastic, and I would defin...

I ordered several dishes: - **Appetizer - Chicken Satay:** This was really good, and the peanut sauce was excellent. - **Chicken with Basil Leaves:** We requested it spicy, but it came out mild, which is quite unusual for a Thai restaurant. - **Beef with Pepper and Garlic:** This dish was lacking in flavor and could use some extra kick. - **Pineapple Fried Rice with Chicken:** This was delicious! The grilled pineapple added a refreshing touch. - **Kang Kiew Wan (Green Curry with Chicken):** This was good as well, featuring a nice level of spice, but it took a while to arrive. It seems they weren't quite ready for orders of this dish on their first day. All in all, I see a lot of promise h... View menu

Here's what I tried: - **Appetizer: Chicken Satay** - This was really good, and the peanut sauce was excellent. - **Chicken with Basil Leaves** - We requested this to be spicy, but it came mild, which is quite unusual for a Thai restaurant. - **Beef with Pepper and Garlic** - This dish lacked flavor and could use a bit more of a kick. - **Pineapple Fried Rice with Chicken** - This was delicious! The grilled pineapple added a wonderfully refreshing taste. - **Kang Kiew Wan (Green Curry with Chicken)** - This was pretty good as it had a nice level of spice to it. Service was slow, probably because it was their first day and they were still figuring things out. Overall, I'm hopeful for their...

Saraya Thai is our top choice for Thai cuisine in Burbank. Many locals regard it as the best in the area, and it's easy to understand why. Their dishes are bursting with flavor, pleasing even the fussier eaters—namely, our kids! We love kicking off our meal with the chicken satay and the scrumptious mini golden wings. The spicy beef salad is exceptional; it strikes a perfect balance of spicy, salty, and sour flavors. Our children also enjoy the chow mein and Thai fried rice with chicken. Though we used to be loyal to the Panang curry, my current favorite is the ground chicken basil. The sweet and salty sauce complements the ground chicken, basil, and white rice beautifully, especially when t...

"Easily my favorite bakery in LA!!! Being French, I feel like it's so hard to find good authentic French bakeries but Lou sets the bar soooooo high! No other bakeries have topped Lou's. The croissants are *chef's kiss*, they're flaky, buttery and taste delicious EVERY TIME! I also like their chocolate bread (pain au chocolat) and eclairs, though the eclairs are much sweeter so if you're into that, definitely give them a try! I really love how they are consistent with their pastries. There was never a time when I was disappointed. Now keep in mind they get very busy on the weekend, the wait can be long like 20 mins, especially if you order sandwiches (which by the way, are delicious too and worth it!!! I tried the chicken and turkey sandwiches and would highly recommend them). I think they run out of baguettes after 1pm or even sooner sometimes so if you want baguettes or sandwiches, definitely show up earlier. Even their drinks are so good, I always get their vanilla latte and once again, it tastes delicious e-ve-ry single time! Wanna know another thing I love about this place? The service! Every time we ordered sandwiches and the wait was long, they'd give us a heads up before finalizing our order in case we wanted to skip the sandwiches. One time, there was a mixup which resulted in us getting our sandwiches later than expected so to apologize for the wait, they offered us a croissant * * You will also often see Lou, the chef and owner, walk around and say hi to his customers. He may even sit with them and chat for a few minutes. He seems to know a lot of people in the neighborhood and that's actually how it is in France. Bakeries are in every corner and we love our bakers! Anyway I know this is now a super long review but I only have amazing things to say about this place, their food, the chef and the staff. I just wish they'd open every day"

"This was the one of a few places that I expected excellence in almost everything but sadly this was not the case. I went for a Sunday Brunch, to celebrate my bday. I made reservations for 11am for 3. We were seated within 5 minutes but once we got seated we waited over 20 minutes for the server to come to our table and that was only after I got up to let the manager know that we have been waiting for a long time without even water being served. Once the server came to get our order we still waited about another 30 minutes for our drinks to be brought and it was just a mimosa and a plain coffee and again after I flagged down the manager. The food and drink itself were perfect. I wouldn't have minded so much the extra long wait if I've had my drinks early on since I did ordered bottomless mimosas. Sadly, I couldn't order as many since they came out at the same time as the food. The manager did come and apologized and said he would take care of us but other than him giving me his card he didn't do much, not even a free drink as an apology. My reservations did say we were celebrating my bday but nothing was said to me about it. I was quite disappointed especially bc of the type of restaurant this is and it wasn't busy when we got there. Four other parties were seated after us within the 30 minutes we sat waiting and waiting and they were all served and were already eating while we didn't even have water.. The view was amazing though."

"As an Italian, I can confidently say that nothing about this place felt authentically Italian to me, aside from a slideshow on the television and the appealing decor. A true Italian restaurant welcomes guests with warmth and hospitality. Initially, the busboy informed me that he needed to check with his manager about seating me. After some time, she approached me and seated me, and the busboy promptly ensured I had water. However, things went downhill very quickly from there. The service was atrocious, with the staff being either curt or outright rude. The only exception was the busboy in the mask, who was genuinely sweet and considerate. I have allergies to alcohol and vinegar, and when I asked several questions, the manager, who was also my waitress, confidently assured me that the artichokes were fresh and grilled. She insisted that I had nothing to worry about regarding my allergies. Sadly, this turned out to be a complete lie. The artichokes were definitely not fresh; they tasted canned or jarred, and the claim that they were grilled was simply untrue. The moment I took a bite, I could tell there was vinegar in it, causing an itchy and burning sensation on the roof of my mouth. When I got up to find the waitress and express my concerns, I was met with defensiveness. The worst part was when she admitted she couldn’t comment on the artichokes because she didn’t eat them herself, and she couldn’t get clear answers from the cooks, only that they were imported. I felt extremely uncomfortable with her dismissive attitude and lack of knowledge. Ultimately, she offered to remove the dish from my bill but insisted that these were special imported artichokes. To me, this felt like being gaslit. I continued to stress the seriousness of my allergies after just one bite of the dish. I asked her why she would serve me an artichoke if she wasn’t sure about its marinade and why my questions weren’t being answered by the kitchen staff. I was left feeling frustrated and more than tempted to leave, but out of respect for my main dish order, I decided to stay, expecting my meal to arrive soon. I ordered chicken piccata and specifically requested that no wine be used due to my severe alcohol allergy. The waitress informed me that the cook wanted me to know it wouldn’t taste the same, which was fine with me. I saw other patrons who came in after me receiving their steaks and pastas, while I sat waiting for nearly an hour. Eventually, I asked a male waiter for an update on my dish, only to be told that it needed to cook. As if I didn’t already know that. When my chicken piccata finally arrived, I was starving. I wanted to scream! I had mentioned my hunger when I arrived, yet it seemed like they either didn’t serve bread or didn’t care to offer any. I had to get up to ask for Parmesan cheese since no one bothered to offer it to me like they did for the other tables. No one ever checked on how my meal was going; I had to approach the counter to pay. As I looked around, I couldn’t believe how generously everyone else was treated, while I felt completely ignored. As I write this review, I’m dealing with a painful stomach ache, rehashing the experience in my mind. I can't understand why I wasn't asked if I needed an appetizer or dessert, or if my allergies were worsening. Nothing! To add insult to injury, my waitress apologized for the long wait after bringing my chicken, claiming it was due to accommodating a larger party. I honestly can’t believe I left a tip. I’ve never been so relieved to leave a restaurant. I will never return to this place, and I recommend that you don’t either. UPDATE THE NEXT DAY: I confirmed there was indeed alcohol and/or vinegar in my food. An hour after writing my review, I was doubled over the toilet all night. This quickly escalated into dehydration and a severe migraine. My throat and nose started closing up, and I nearly had to use my EpiPen. With allergies, reactions can be immediate or delayed, and mine come on slowly but then escalate quickly. I am absolutely miserable today and had to call off work. I am changing my rating from two stars to one star."
