"The restaurant was extremely busy for Cinco De Mayo on a Thursday night. It was loud and crowded, but we were fortunate to get a table on the outdoor deck. This helped to lower the noise level. The food was decent, but not outstanding. The drinks were tasty but expensive. Overall, it was a fun night out, but not a laid-back atmosphere. Just a heads up, there seems to be a younger, party-going crowd that hangs out here after a certain hour."

Some of the chips were a bit stale tasting and the tacos were a little dry and quite small for $7 a piece.

The overall experience was quite good, however, the bar atmosphere made it very loud, especially for an early dinner.

We went for drinks and the dollar oysters. Good value on the oysters, but be warned that there was a lot of shell in them and it was a bit of a hazardous eating experience. View menu

Food wasn’t that great for the price, drinks were amazing but our waiter kept letting other obnoxious guests just stand around next to our table during dinner. Drinks were good dj was amazing

we had a wonderful time in the scorpion bar! we loved the cocktails, the food was excellent, and the service was wonderful. I will come back happy and look forward to many nights spent this summer on this terrace.

Our experience at Scorpion bar was fantastic! We thoroughly enjoyed the delicious cocktails, the outstanding food, and the excellent service. I will gladly return and can't wait to spend many summer evenings on their patio. View menu

Music was so loud our party of 5 had to almost shout at each other. My garlic Parmesan wings were so mild that I couldn’t tell what flavor they were as well as my Caesar salad. Our waiter was great, so attentive and brought everything we ordered right away.

Our server, K, (not to give away their full name) was excellent. The ambience was awesome, the food amazing and the drinks were cool; it kind of turned into a somewhat high end slash local hang out spot as the night went on, but overall can’t wait to go back.

"No soup/sandwich shop compares in terms of price per quality, portion size, and different options in the area. I only started ordering from here about 2 weeks ago and I’ve now had 7 different kinds of soups and 4 different kinds of sandwiches after the first order I started ordering two soups and a sandwich aka a soup to save for later because they’re just that good, every one of them. Price is so very reasonable and depending on which combo you get you can make out with a full sized sandwich and large sized homemade soup for $14.While it’s hard to recommend one thing over another in this circumstance since it’s all been great in their own ways, the Chicken Chowder is something I plan on getting a quart of next time it’s available. The Chicken Barley and Chicken Lemon Rice are ones I plan on getting quarts of in the future as well, and that’s not to discount the Chicken Noodle, Beef and Veg Noodle Stew, French Onion, and the current seasonal Chilled Gazpacha (which I probably wouldn’t have even tried it wasn’t from these guys . It’s all top quality. The Chicken Tarragon sandwich is my favorite in terms of sandwiches although it can’t combo with a soup as of now (please let us! . The best cheap soup combo sandwich is a tossup between the Cilantro Tuna and Ciabatta Sandwich, which are both incredible in their own ways. The only few drawbacks to this place are they don’t have every soup they make every day, are only open until 4PM, and aren’t open on the weekends. That said it’s worth it to plan accordingly for this. I never review anything but this place is worth it it’s the best if you’re a soup and sandwich person like I am."
