"Before I leave a review, let me disclose my background of consuming noodles. My ethnicity is vietnamese and pho is my peoples crown jewels when it comes to noodle soup. That being said I'm a big fanatic on noodles, I've eaten noodle dishes in Vietnam, Korea, and Japan, and i use to live in Los Angeles, and Ive tried all types of different varieties of noodle dishes in chinatown as well. Unfortunately I have to leave a bad review for this place due to the poor quality of the classic ramen dish. I am not necessarily critical, due to outside factors such as how busy it is, staffing and etc. However, there is no excuse as to why the primary food item tasted bad. When I got the the ramen, the broth was flavorless it was the equivalent to slurping up hot water, the mushrooms and seaweed were soggy, the noodles were okay but the egg, the egg was the reason why the whole dish fell apart. The soft boiled egg is suppose to be tender and juicy, but as soon as I bit into it was bitter and tough as if they froze the egg, it expired and was reheated in the broth was such a disappointment. I was appalled as to how this ramen can not be good due to the simplicity. I can only assume the standard of serving fresh ingredients has been neglected or overlooked. I will not come back here. I've eaten at many places that serve ramen and this restaurant has failed."

I know the Palms just opened but No No.NO.. we ordered food to go back to the room and I was very disappointed. My ramen was plain and noodles were hard. The Beef was not good. It was like fake beef.

I wasn?t pleased with the service. They asked a young lady to leave because of her attire however the hotel was full because everyone was there for a festival? it?s 98 degrees today, oh and the food was average

Worst ramen I have ever had. I paid $20 for the house ramen and a 20 cent package from the grocery store would have been better. The broth may as well have been water. The shoyu egg was extremely overcooked and the pork was like deli meat cold cuts. Absolutely terrible. I can't believe they charge money for this garbage. I thought Las Vegas was supposed to be a great food city. Pathetic.

A fantastic choice for noodle lovers! We sampled the tempura green beans and dumplings, and both were delightful. Although we weren’t particularly fond of the dipping sauce served with the dumplings, that's just a matter of personal preference. The Dan Dan Mein was another highlight of the meal. The service was prompt and efficient, and everything arrived piping hot. We will certainly be back! View menu

The highlight of this restaurant is its name. Unfortunately, that's where the positives end. The food lacks flavor and is quite bland, the service is far from acceptable, and to top it all off, the prices are outrageous. The wait for the food was excessively long, and once it finally arrived, I could only manage a few bites before deciding to pay my bill and head to Mabel's for a much better experience. Save your money and look for a better place to eat.

The most notable aspect of this restaurant is its name. Unfortunately, everything else falls short. The food is tasteless and lacks flavor, the service is subpar at best, and the prices are outrageously high for what you get. Additionally, the wait for the food was excessively long. Once the dishes finally arrived, I managed a few bites before I decided to pay and head over to Mabel's, which provided a much better experience. Save your money and choose a different place.

I’d like to add my thoughts to the many unfavorable reviews about the ramen. It tasted like seawater and lacked any flavor—truly appalling. They did take the dish back and offered me the firecracker chicken, which was decent. My husband wanted the firecracker chicken but with noodles on the side, but they wouldn’t allow him to swap the rice for noodles. Instead, he ordered the Shanghai noodle dish, which was just average, and we both ended up feeling sick afterward. The service was quick but rather curt. I would recommend saving your money and opting for the buffet next door instead! View menu

I’d like to add my voice to the negative reviews about the ramen. It tasted like salty ocean water and had no flavor at all—it was truly disgusting. They did take the dish back and offered me the firecracker chicken, which was decent. My husband wanted the firecracker chicken but asked for noodles instead of rice, but they refused to accommodate that request. So he ended up getting the Shanghai noodle dish, which was barely edible, and we both felt sick shortly after eating. The service was quick but very abrupt and unwelcoming. I would recommend saving your money and heading to the buffet next door instead!

Before I write my review, I want to share a bit about my background with noodles. As a Vietnamese, pho is a treasured dish for my culture. I'm a true noodle enthusiast and have sampled noodle dishes in Vietnam, Korea, and Japan. Having lived in Los Angeles, I’ve tried various noodle offerings in Chinatown as well. Unfortunately, I have to give a negative review of this restaurant due to the poor quality of their classic ramen. I try not to be overly critical, considering factors like busyness and staffing, but there’s no excuse for the lack of flavor in the main dish. When I received the ramen, the broth was bland—essentially like sipping hot water. The mushrooms and seaweed were soggy, the...

"Entry: We entered Oscar's via the front entrance of The Plaza at the West end of Fremont Street. Off to the left near the entrance is the escalator that leads you to their second floor. When we entered we were immediately greeted and seated by a friendly hostess. We requested a table with a view and she definitely obliged. Atmosphere:The ambience at Oscar's is about as good as you can get in downtown Las Vegas. Centered in a large and beautifully tinted glass dome you get panoramic views of downtown LV and even the sky. Service:The service was a spectacular star experience with our waiter. Our water and drinks were never empty. He was attentive, professional and friendly. Food Drink:The food was very good but not quite up to star. The Chilean Sea Bass was the full fish with skin which is quite different than how most steakhouses prepare just a single filet. It was supposed to be deboned however we found bones while eating. The skin on the filet should be crispy throughout but was only so around the edges. Definitely overpriced for the quality of this meal. The salmon was decent but not amazing. Overcooked just a smidge and not seasoned very well. So pretty much tasted like any other salmon you might expect from a or star restaurant. The filet mignon was decent but probably not even in my top The cut was more fatty than what you would expect from a high end steakhouse and not marbleized. I ordered it medium, and as many steakhouse chefs struggle with cooking a filet properly it was cooked to order on the edges and pretty much completely rare on the inside. The grilled asparagus was likely the high point of the dinner. Was cooked to perfection and tender in the middle, crispy on the edges. The creamed spinach wasn't great. The spinach was undercooked and affected the smooth consistency that you should expect from a good cream spinach.Overall:Definitely worth trying for the experience but don't set your bar too high"
