"I had been here a couple of times before they renovated, to be honest I wasn’t a fan of the decoration before and I love the colors now! Finally, came back in this evening after they opened up for the second shift. The older lady , the owner, let us know that she had no waiter/waitress and service would take longer. (She was thinking of closing) By this point it started getting really busy. SUPER BUSY. The lady even pulled out the guy who washes dishes in order to help. I would let others know that they could sit wherever and I tried telling people to be patient since they were understaffed but not everyone has that quality. Then, I guess a person she knew came in and she looked so relieved and asked for help. Some other people who got there 5 minutes after us; got up and stared helping out however they could. Even taking orders from other customers. Great thing to see and be a part of. I saw people who claimed to wait for an hour, however this wasn’t true I was there for nearly two hours. Despite the wait time the food we got was delicious I absolutely loved my experience and have always recommended this place. I go to McAllen every once in a while and always make time to stop here. We got the Dolsot Bimbimbap (my FAVORITE) and the Spicy Samgyupsal! The banchan (side dishes) are also the best! All of it was great and worth the wait. (Even worth the drive from Brownsville) The people who helped and understood, I appreciate you and wish for many others like you. Be kind to people and and a reminder that small businesses are still suffering effects from the pandemic."

I had the mixed Yaki-Soba plate, and it was amazing. Each bite was more delicious than the one before. The customer service was excellent as well. I highly recommend trying this place!

Definitely the place to go for Korean food. The Lady is so nice and been operating for more than 20yrs. Everything is cooked and made by her and the flavor and quality shows. She just recently did a remodel on the place and it’s so refreshing and inviting. My favorite is her spicy pork and it’s actually pork belly cuts. View menu

I absolutely loved this place! The service was excellent, and the owner, Grace, served us. She was very friendly and frequently checked in on us and chatted with us. The food was amazing—definitely better than most places I've tried. I had the yakisoba, and it was fantastic! This cozy and humble restaurant is a gem, and I can't wait to come back and bring my friends.

I've been coming for years, and never left dissatisfied. There's usually only 1 server. So getting a refill or being greeted mostly happens only when the owner is at the register. But that doesn't bother me because of the great food! My whole family enjoys coming evertime. Because of remodeling they had closed down for a few months, but they're back open again all new and super clean!

Amazing customer services, the dishes are completely different from what we or I am used to. They play Korean dramas/TV shows and the lemonade is fresh and real squeezed lemons which makes the food taste amazing. The owner is always around and she is willing to get to know you and be your friend. You always feel welcome and it is a nice environment Sometimes they’ll forget to give you your plates or they will give them to another table View menu

Omfg. Best homemade Korean food I’ve had in the valley so far. Update: I had the chance to talk to the owner. You’ll see her around all the time. So I Can confirmó this is homemade food. She told me she makes everything herself! Waiters only assemble and cook meat in the moments but her sauces, soups and condiments are all her magic. She is from Korea The food is delicious and I’ll bet it’s homemade, it comes very hot to the table, staff is friendly, portions are sufficient and they have Korean drinks too. The place could use some cleaning in the windows but that doesn’t affect the food at all! Don’t let that stop you from eating here. Looking forward to visit again.

VERY good food! The waitress was a sweetheart, and the owner is very talkative. We ate K10 with the beef, and a K10 vegetarian. They were both wonderful. The made in-house kimchi is so fresh and yummy. I have nothing negative at all to say about the food. The building however, could use a redesign, inside and out. Also, the waitresses are never fully staffed. There seems to only ever be one waitress and the owner working, which makes for longer wait times, and sometimes mistakes (not the waitresses fault) in orders, because of being short-handed. When the restaurant is full, one waitress is NOT enough to serve up to 12-15 customers. You can see the poor ladies running ragged and stressed bec...
