Shanghlander is situated in Arcadia and boasts a beautiful interior. The restaurant offers a private room for parties or company gatherings. Their menu features authentic Shanghai dishes that I thoroughly enjoyed. The service was polite and attentive.

Came by and ordered some takeout dishes, I understand the food will be tastier if we ate in the restaurant. But honestly as a Shanghainese, only shrimps, jelly fish, white bamboo were good. I won’t blame the Crab Tofu cause it’s hard to find the same material. But the meatball was so tough, too much starch, with an egg yolk inside they tasted really weird. It was a 30-minute wait for a table for 2. Bring a bigger crowd and you'll get better attention. Then after sitting down, it took another person to swing by and take our order, followed by 30 minutes to bring one dish out, and the other was forgotten. So we had to wait another 20 for the second one. Longest lunch of my life!People were beautiful, well-dressed, they were nice. But that was ridiculously slow.The food was decent, but not worth the price or the wait. Granted, the prices aren't that much different from most other Shanghai restaurants. We recently hosted a dinner party for 28 people in the private room at this restaurant. The room was actually two rooms combined with two large tables that comfortably accommodated more than 14 guests. The atmosphere here is very welcoming and family-oriented, with a bright and beautifully decorated layout. The food was incredibly delicious, with each dish beautifully presented and inviting. The waitstaff was efficient, prompt, and very polite. We took some photos of the dishes before they were devoured, but couldn't resist digging in. We are already looking forward to hosting more dinner parties here in the future.

Avoid the big banquet table party time when you get in seat, we had wait 40 minutes to get first dish on the table, because the kitchen was busy in big banquet, we did complaint to the manager it looks like she could not do nothing, we were starving and wait, one friend suggested that we should change to another restaurant instead but the waiter and lady manager kept on mention 'your order will be ready soon. ' the worst was they even forgot our last dish until we remained the waiter. The food was delicious but the timing.... When we checked out non of service people showed apologies about the delay, it sounded you had bad timing, you deserved. View menu
