"I thought it was fantastic when our server brought out small tasting dishes of traditional Korean accompaniments to complement our meal. If you find something you enjoy, you can always request more. We started with Yangnyeom wings (spicy wings), which had a distinct and unique flavor. We also ordered Japchae (glass noodles stir-fried with vegetables and ribeye in soy sauce) and Dolsot Bibimbap (a mixture of meat and vegetables served over crispy rice in a stone bowl topped with a fried egg). That was a lot of delicious food! A special thank you to our wonderful server, Rebekah. She was incredibly helpful in guiding us through the menu and helping us choose a fantastic meal. She made our dining experience even better!"

When this restaurant was in East Lansing, my husband and I used to dine there almost weekly. I'm really sad they moved to Grand Rapids, but I'm glad we can still visit occasionally. The Kimchi Ramen is absolutely incredible—it's the perfect dish to warm you up on a chilly day!

I enjoyed delicious food and experienced friendly service. The owner was incredibly kind and accommodating. I would definitely return. The table grilling option added a fun twist to the meal, and I had no issues with the food quality—everything was just right, with no unpleasant surprises.

I was very satisfied with the atmosphere, service, and food quality. It was a wonderful and relaxing experience, comparable to Korean BBQ in L.A. The service was truly exceptional, and the meats, kimchi, and side dishes were all excellent. The standout appetizer was the seafood pancake. Thank you! View menu

Learned about Korean BBQ from buzzfeed and found Emonae was the best option around. This was for sure the best food I 've had in a long time. We chose the all you can eat and the waitress was really helpful showing us how to grill. The place had good vibes and a nice look, overall I 'd highly recommend Emonae

Absolutely fantastic! The staff was incredible—kudos to Natasha for her outstanding service, and Jake really enjoyed the playlist. The food was delicious, the prices were reasonable, and the portion sizes were just right. This was my first visit, and thanks to the excellent service, I’m now a lifelong customer!

I had an amazing experience with Korean food in Grand Rapids! I tried the Bulgogi (beef), Dak Gui (chicken), and the Mondoo, and everything was phenomenal! The restaurant has a clean and inviting atmosphere, and the bathroom was fresh and tidy. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I will definitely return! View menu

"When in town you just have to try this place. A great friend recommended this amazing spot for lunch while I was visiting Grand Rapids very recently from Charleston, SC. Needless to say, my buddy was on point. First thing I noticed aside from the quaint nature of the bar area was no televisions. And I’m mentioning this as a positive. You rarely, if ever, see this anymore yet it practically guarantees patrons will at some point engage others. Meeting good folks can be the spice of life. But onto the essentials: the service and food were incredible. Littlebird has many options for basically every taste and diet, but their smashburger garners major accolades. I was going in that direction when I spotted what I was told was an upgrade to an old favorite… the twice-fried Korean chicken sandwich. Mind was blown, and I rarely speak in hyperbole. For starters, they bake their own bread for sandwiches. And I mean this wholeheartedly when I say this was the best bread I’ve ever consumed. It’s perfection. Don’t take my word for it… go experience it for yourself. It melts in your mouth and was the perfect accompaniment and complement to this sandwich. The slaw and sauce just take it to the next level. As a side I chose the house oven-roasted potatoes. Or that’s how they appeared and tasted. Phenomenal. Washed down with a Mexican Coke. It all works. Cannot go wrong. I felt compelled to come here and write this because I was that singularly impressed with this establishment from top to bottom. And I live in one of the best food cities in America in Charleston. Also, a big shout out to day manager Caleb. We got to talking and he was just an awesome dude and a great representative of his employer. He also took time to help with walking directions to the other side of town. Looking forward to our next visit to GR and Littlebird will be the first stop on the restaurant tour. Thanks again!"
