"I've been wanting to try this place for a long time but every time I went there it was closed. I guess I was going right in between lunch and dinner. I am glad today it was open at the time that I was downtown. The food was very good. I had their chicken Katsu bento box and gyozo. my friend had their tempura and California rolls. Everything was very good. The food came in a timely manner and the waitress that waited on us was very friendly. It's a small little place and the tables were OK not real comfortable but fine"

This is a lovely little restaurant. The fish is fresh, the quality is top-notch, and the knife skills are excellent. The service is fast and efficient, which is a great plus. I also appreciate the lunch specials. For my meal, I dined in and spent around $30 to $50 per person. I highly recommend the assorted sashimi! View menu

This is our favorite sushi restaurant, especially since we can easily walk there from our home in Cotati. The lunch specials are delicious and plentiful, and all the handcrafted sushi is outstanding. We've tried other places, including one that's supposedly highly rated in RP, but we will always consider Shige the best.

There are numerous sushi options in the area, but I chose to stop by this charming little shop—and I have no regrets! The decor had a cute vibe that reminded me of the TV show "Midnight Diner." I ordered the cucumber salad, the shrimp carpaccio dragon roll, and the Shige roll. I'm quite particular about cucumber salad since many places don't season it well, but this one had the perfect balance of rice vinegar and sugar. The rolls were large and satisfying, and the carpaccio was delicious! I'll definitely be returning!
