"We stopped by for a quick meal tonight, and we were pleasantly surprised by how great this place turned out to be! The freshness of the fish was outstanding. We tried a variety of rolls, but our favorites were the Crazy Tuna Roll and the Playboy Roll! The restaurant is very accommodating for both large and small groups, and the sushi chefs were fantastic at handling any special requests. Prices were very reasonable too! We did have two servers, which was a bit confusing, but we believe one was in training. Despite being located near the highway, the noise from passing cars and people at the nearby lake was hardly noticeable. Plus, the Jonas Brothers playing in the background was a fun touch! This place is definitely worth a visit for anyone seeking quality sushi in Lakewood."

Honest estimated delivery time on Uber eats. I chose them for the quick delivery time and they showed up an hour later. . The soft shell crab and oysters were cold and wet. Reminded me of pre breaded Costco seafood. Terrible. Sushi was blah. I won't order from there again. I View menu

I'm shocked this place has such good reviews. Half my sashimi came out half frozen. The rice in the rolls is very obviously old, clearly not made this morning but leftover that was kept in the fridge and brought to temp. It's way over priced for that quality and quantity. The food was really good! I visited Shiso for the first time with my partner and his children, and they absolutely enjoyed the edamame, California rolls, and seaweed salad, which is always a good sign when dealing with picky eaters. The service was friendly and attentive. It wasn't crowded during our visit. I tried the unagi don and found it delicious—I'd definitely return for that! Plus, I love that it’s located near Sloan’s Lake!
