"Wow, no one has been able to touch Coffee First Saigon Grill's banh mi until now! If you love these sandwiches, you'll love this place. Also had their coffee- perfection, and none of that weird additive stuff I've had from some other places. Also tried their from scratch passionfruit soda- YUM! and their FS **** Mary. Didn't expect to like it but it was amazing! Their shrimp chips also look and taste homemade, I didnt ask but they're completely different in a good way from all the others I've tried. Pho was on point...best quality of meat I've ever had in a bowl of pho. We are so excited to have a great Vietnamese spot on the east side! (We live on the west side and have another face there but are always exploring the east when we are out). The only thing that was not my fave was the bench seat..a little small and unpaded- not most comfortable for a larger sized person, and the tables are bolted down so it's a bit of a squeeze to get in and out. But I'm nit-picking, it's a really cute, clean space and we REALLY loved the food and the people!"

I really enjoy this bar; they have delicious banh mi and a great selection of beers on tap.

It seems that the restaurant will have new owners soon. The food just isn't the same, and unfortunately, it's not nearly as good as it used to be. What a disappointment!

This restaurant offers an excellent happy hour and stays open late. It's hard to find places in Portland that are open after 10 PM, but this one is definitely a great option.

This pho is incredible. The portion of meat is abundant, and it's incredibly tender and flavorful. I would give it a perfect score of 10,000 out of 10. Without a doubt, it's the best pho in Portland! View menu

I've been here for years. Great! Service spectacular, especially with to-go packaging that is almost prepared and includes plum sauce and Sriracha! Pampered the dish, will add pictures next visit. Very recommended.

I had the Banh Mi on two different occasions. The first time it was great... Last night the Banh Mis was dry. I also decided to try the fish sauce wings and they came without sauce that was disappointing. Either I will try again and will check for sauce before I go (or eat in person)

This restaurant offers the most delicious banh mi I've ever tasted, along with delightful Vietnamese coffee and fantastic pork and shrimp salad rolls. The prices are excellent during happy hour from 3 to 6 PM. It baffles me that this place isn't bustling with customers all day long—it's such a hidden gem! View menu

I was really disappointed. For $12, I expected at least some rice or more than just a cup of vegetables. This has to be the saddest main dish I’ve ever ordered. I had the Bún ch? a while ago, and it was fine, but I'm not planning to return. I’m updating my review to add a star because my friend’s pho was good, but I still feel let down by the vegetable dish.

We sat at the bar and had beer and appetizers and got our entrees to go. Nice to see the kitchen, and the food videos on TV were a nice touch. Service was excellent, everything we ordered was freshly cooked and served hot cakes. We will have dreams about these wings! We also had the Chive cakes, a nice and simple street food we really enjoyed. Banh mi with Chinese sausage was fantastic. New Owner is Thai, so they now have a mix of Vietnamese and Thai dishes. Can't wait to try the other banh mi and the Pho some time. Will definitely come back!
