"Met a friend who was traveling along the 40 for lunch. Shorty’s is easy to get to and has ample space near by for RV parking. Features indoor and outdoor seating. You order at the front counter and then sit down to eat your food and they bring it out to you when it’s ready. They have BBQ, Sandwiches, Broasted “Fried Chicken”, Spaghetti, Pizza, Wings and more. I was a little overwhelmed by the menu because there were so many tasty choices, I ended up getting the Broasted Chicken and it was great! Sierra was our cashier and server and she was so helpful and pleasant. I felt like I had so many questions since it was my first time there and she was so friendly and answered all my questions. If you are traveling on Hwy 40 and would like some good eats- check out Shorty’s!"

our first time here and we really enjoyed the brisket, unfortunately we were told that they were closed for 3 months, who totally beaten us, as we would definitely go back!

Your masks hanging under your chin are sloppy and inconspicuous. No way will I recommend a place that does not take precautions with a mask, so I wonder how hygienic you are.

I am a trucker from south carolina. I'm very picky about my grill. the best grill I've had for years. wonderful family in the owned and operated restaurant. amazing family atmosphere. comfortable and cozy. preserves more than 5 stars

The food at this restaurant was absolutely fantastic, and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. I can't wait to visit again on our next trip! Maybe then I'll finally find out what a cow chip is! Thank you for a great experience!

Shorty serves all the known BBQ favorites, brisket, ribs,chicken hot links. Fried chicken dinners and pizza are also available. Prices are reasonable and portions are large. My only disappointment was they don't make a thin crust pizza however that's minor. View menu

The BBQ at this restaurant was excellent. We tried the brisket and pulled pork, both of which were delicious and served with house-made rolls. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, and our food was ready in less than three minutes. The atmosphere was reminiscent of a classic diner, with a genuine and interesting vibe that avoided any artificial or modern elements.

The food was decent but not outstanding. The atmosphere is uncomfortable and unnecessary. The young employees are friendly, but I question the message being sent by the owners with their signage. Glorifying a past president is not the best choice for messaging. It shouldn't matter who you like or dislike; it's how you treat others that will be remembered. I believe in peace over hate, so I will not be returning to this restaurant. To the young employees, you have the opportunity to learn from the hate and bias the owners promote. Make your own choices and reject any white supremacy ideology. You deserve to give and receive love.
