"If you have not eaten at Shrubb's Street Eatery, you don't know what you are missing. Billy and Brandi bring amazing food creations to small town Iowa. Last night I had the Bacon Cheese Burger with Filet Mignon. Wow, what a burger. As always, Billy cooked it to perfection! The homemade sauces are amazing. Also, they offer Gluten Free options and take preparation of Gluten Free meals seriously. If you are Gluten intolerant, no worries here. Your food will be delicious and safe for your dietary needs. Give Billy and Brandi a try, you won't be disappointed.Update 5/8/2022 Today we had Shrubb's for Mothers Day. I had the Filet sandwich with Yum Yum sauce. Let me tell you this sandwich is Freakin' AMAZING!!! My wife had the BBQ Pulled Pork sandwich. She said it was amazing. Our son in law had the BBQ Pulled Pork Grilled Cheese sandwich and he said it was amazing. We also had their sushi. It was also amazing. You have to order your sushi ahead of time the day or two before. Note that Shrubb's has moved to West Union at the intersection of Hwy 18 and Pine. Their new restaurant is take out only. It is amazing so give it a try."

Ordering online was a breeze, and I opted for takeout. The food was absolutely delicious and fresh! I tried the Charleston Sunshine, which comes with chicken, bib lettuce, mandarin orange slices, almond slivers, and raisins on flatbread. It was truly fantastic! I’m thrilled that this gem is located right here in West Union!

Wow! I had an incredible lunch at Shrubb’s! This family-owned restaurant is run by a husband and wife team, both Navy veterans. The dishes were not only visually stunning, but the flavors were absolutely fantastic. I strongly recommend trying the garlic sesame chicken flatbread.
