I’ve lived in Chengdu, Sichuan. This is the best/most authentic Sichuanese restaurant I’ve experienced in the USA since I returned. I love the chicken Vine Pepper Spice dish (not listed in menu, but written on the whiteboard in the entry way).

My husband really enjoyed the fried rice he got and the chicken skewers were really good! My lo mein, however, was meh. There was also a whole screw in my food. Literally a metal screw. So that was quite unpleasant. The hunt continues for a good Chinese food place ‍

My fiancé is from Jersey and has often expressed his disappointment with the food options, particularly when it comes to pizza and Asian cuisine. After reading reviews about Sichuan Dynasty, we decided to make the 50-minute drive to try it out. It was definitely worth the trip, and we will be returning! Amazing chinese food! I choose to order a few things and had left overs for days! I ordered the mini pork buns, the pot sticker style dumplings, beef skewers, chicken lo mein, general tso’s chicken. The mini buns were delicious! I personally didn’t love the sauce that came with them but they were delicious on their own, I tried some in just plain soy sauce that was great too! We visited Sichuan Dynasty this afternoon, and it was incredible! It's the most authentic Chinese restaurant we've encountered in the Kansas City metro area. Most Chinese food in KC tends to be quite different, bland, and not up to par with what I'm used to from NYC/NJ, but this place is the real deal! We tried the Sichuan Spicy Wontons, Sichuan Asparagus, Dan-Dan Noodles, Chung King Spicy Chicken, and Jiao-Yan Crispy Shrimp, and everything was packed with flavor and was absolutely delicious. Whether you enjoy spicy food or not, they have something for everyone. Highly recommend!

Absolutely the best food I've had since relocating to Kansas City! The flavors were simply explosive; I can't fully articulate how incredible it was. The braised pork was so tender it practically melted in my mouth, and the eggplant had a delightful balance of sweetness and savory notes. It's hard to convey just how amazing the food is—you really have to experience it for yourself. To top it off, the service was outstanding!
