Family owned and run. Classic local business that is well run and consistently good ice cream cakes.

They offer the best ice cream! The staff is extremely polite and patient, even when handling a large group. Definitely deserves a 5-star rating!

Great ice cream, wild prices, decent service.This is a great spot to grab some ice cream on the go, near shopping and plenty of parking, I just know I paid 11 dollars for a milkshake.

This shop is very useful for Indian traditional food, especially for festive occasions. They have a good selection of disposable utensils and related items available in bulk, which we appreciated having access to a month in advance for sale. We love shopping at this ICC shop!

The ice was good, nothing special. But the service... the man who served the ice was rude and easily creepy. There were three flavors that were unique/interesting for me so naturally I asked to taste them; When I performed the third taste, he gave me a judicious look then gave me my sample. This place appears to be an old-fashioned long-standing family run business so I was shocked to see the amount of food coloring they put in their ice cream. It is so vividly colored as to be unappetizing. I did get some less heavily colored ice cream the first time there and it was good. The second visit after taking a look at the colors I just lost my enthusiasm and left empty handed.

It's been there forever n it's got the best ice cream in town ...a gem of Marin..Adults go there n remember as children going there n now they take their children.Isn't it wonderful??? If it could be like that w so many institutions in Marin...there are some but not many...SILBERMANN'S ICE PARLOR IS SOMETHING TO BE ENJOYED N HOPEFULLY IT WILL GO ON FOR MANY YEARS...BANANA SPLITS,SUNDAES,YOU NAME IT....I HOPE EVERYBODY GOES THERE ONE TIME OR ANOTHER...THEY WONT BE SORRY...ITS CHARMING N THE HELP IS VERY FRIENDLY N POLITE...THEIR MILKSHAKES ARE AWESOME N THEY USE PAPER STRAWS...THIS ESTABLISHMENT IS JUST PLAIN CLASSY!!!

On our Spring quest for great Marin ice cream, we tried Silberman's. It was packed on Sunday afternoon. It was the first sunny day and lots of young kids were having a post-game treat. The server kept his cool despite the clamor of shouts for more gummy worms! It was my fault for not taking in the whole store layout--I missed the enormous section devoted to chocolate ice creams. Nonetheless, I got a two-scoop waffle cone for my husband and a taste for my dog. The two scoop cone was easy (although there are a lot of cone choices and two different scoop sizes! .
