"BEST PLACES ARE HOLE IN THE WALLS. I have been going to this place for 10 plus years, and every year its something new and great. I try to eat there atleast 4-5 times a week. The place is centraly located in Richardson and is right off the highway. If you are looking for true honest authentic Indian/Pakistani food without the overcharge for their overhead, this is the place. You cannot find their original Spicy Gyros anywhere, and their Biryani is to die for. Their newest addition to the menu is their Fried Talapia bedded on spicy or mild rice.(I love the spicy version), it is a complete hit in my books. Go try it for your self. Amazing mom and pop place. Food is always excellent and service is top notch. Only issue I have with this place is that it's too far away from me : keep up the great work.

good food and generous portions. my son had the chicken comb with biryani, tandoori, korma huhn. my man and I had the 2 for $18. I had the tikka masala and my man had chicken caraha. this was served with naan and rice and a drink. I had a chai tea. everything was tasty, although the tikka masala was not as creamy as I had most restaurants. it's a bit in the wall, but clean.

Came here on a semi busy night 1hr before closing. Ordered Chicken Tikka Masala, Seekh Kebab Grill, Chicken Boti Grill, Chicken Chapli Kebab, 4x Chicken Samosa, and 4xNaan.Great dishes were the Tikka masala, Samosa, Naan and Chapli Kebab. The rest were dry, overcooked, or were simply reheated. Fresh these might be better but not going to reorder these. The customer service was excellent and friendly.Price point for family of 4 is 40 to 60.My overall is 4 out of 5Wife gave it a 3 out of 5.

this small strip center Indian/Pakistani restaurant drew here from a hidden spot in richardson. it has a simple, economical interior, but the owner is very friendly and helpful. they have a good menu with many things I haven't seen yet, so I have to come back and try more. she recommended the lunchtime combination that was a (tandori) huh, a couple of biryani and a court (short) I did not recognize. the biryani and the huh were in order, but the curry court was excellent. I had to suck the soak with that nan. the combo finished with a custard that was very beautiful. View menu

This is the most arrogant business owner I have ever encountered. I ordered 4 beef samosas on the website, but he insisted that I had ordered 4 veggie samosas. Despite my protests, he refused to change the order and threatened to throw the food in the trash if I did not take it. He also said he would charge me if he changed it to beef. It was clear that he had an ego problem and did not take responsibility for the mistake on his website. As a local guide on Google, I believe all customers should be treated with respect. I reluctantly took the food and left, but I will never order from the Silver Spoon again due to this unacceptable attitude.

great family restaurant with excellent food. we have been eating in this restaurant since 1992. it provided as excellent value for our money when we were college students. now they have expanded their menu to many more items and we still think this is the best place in north dallas for predictably delicious food. what we really found that they are also the best caterers. we had just recently our daughter ameen in a clubhouse. we had them for the food and also hired them for the facility and presentation. everything was first-class. silver spoon goes the extra mile. we had buffalo wings as an appetizer, nihari, achari chkn, seah kababab as a main article, and kheer and flan as...read more

"On our last night visiting our kids (we live in Michigan-they live in Texas), we chose lazy dog. There was no waiting, we were seated right away. I was truly impressed with the interior decor. The birch looking trees by the concierge lent an air of nature. The metal dog sculptures were pretty awesome. I loved the beams in the high ceiling, very cool and I am inspired to create something similar in my own home. The fireplace wall was awesome, huge and the deer head mounted on it was unique and fitting. The restaurant was clean and spacious, easy to see from the road. Our waitress was Margaret and she was very friendly, knowledgeable seemed happy to be there. She brought our drinks right away. My son enjoyed the Alaskan Halibut. He raved about how good it was. The rest of us were slightly disappointed. IMO, the lazy dog takes the usual menu offerings but puts their on twist on it. There’s nothing wrong with that, it just didn’t meet our expectations. The queso was orange cheese with a different flavor-not bad, but not what we were expecting either. My daughter got the fried chicken meal. The seasoning in the breading was, different, unusual. Four of us tried it, the only one that really enjoyed it was my son. I got the pot roast beef dip. That was good and tasty. Both I and my daughter enjoyed the sandwich. The onion rings didn’t have much taste and I found them unremarkable. Hubbs got the cheeseburger which he liked and my acquired daughter got the all American burger which she liked. The portions of food were generous, but I felt the prices were high. I’m glad we tried this restaurant, but it is not going on my “must return” or favorite lists."
