"I've been eating here for over 25 years!! And astonishingly, it has just become better! The food is always delicious and hot and ready in minutes! I never had one thing on the menu that wasn't fantastic! The teriyaki sticks are the best around, but the hidden jewel on this menu is the kantoneless Chicken Sweet and Sour...omg. (Unfortunately, did not get pictures of food bc I ate it before I could take a picture!! It's so delicious! I grew up eating here as a kid with my parents, now I'm going from High Point to Asheboro with MY son, the 15 only to get her food. He is also in LOVE with this place! The legend continues!! Great food, great prices! Thanks Golden Garden for so consistently brilliant for so many years!! We love you and come back!!!"

"This is undoubtedly the best Thai and Cambodian restaurant in the triad. Having visited Thailand, I can confidently say that the food here is both authentic and delicious. Even if you don't live in the Asheboro area, it's worth the drive to experience this cuisine. The staff is attentive and always ensures your glass is full. They go above and beyond to accommodate your needs. The fresh spring rolls are outstanding, and the daily soups are always a delightful surprise."

"This was the first time my girlfriend and I went here. Not only was the food amazing but the service was wonderfully amazing! The owner even came around to each table to see how everything was going. He was very kind and passionate about his restaurant. He told us the restaurant's been opened for 23 years! I got the shrimp scampi and my girlfriend got the chicken cordon Bleu. For dessert we shared the lemon tres letches cake. Overall, this was a great meal and we will be going back and bringing friends! 10/10 recommended"

"I dined at the American Road House with a friend, where she ordered a combination platter and I ordered the scallops. Unfortunately, the scallops did not look appealing when they arrived at our table. It was clear that they had been cooked from frozen and the exterior was overcooked while the interior of the scallop was runny. The dish had no flavor and was disappointing. I will not be returning to the American Road House, as the scallops were not prepared properly and were overpriced. The chefs should take a trip to Skippers Restaurant on 64 West in Thomasville, NC, to learn how to properly prepare seafood."

"The service was very poor. The server could have been overwhelmed. I am not sure. She seemed to spend more time with Tables of folks that she had more in common with. We had to go out of our way to get the servers attention, for water refills and such things. My wife and I had chimichanga's. They were dry and had little flavor. My brother in-law had chicken Fajitas. They looked pretty tasty. Unfortunately, we had to ask for the tortillas that come with the meal. The server seemed very surprised that he should have received tortillas with his meal. Over all, it was a waste of a family meal. We will not waste our hard earned money there or any of there other establishments.
