"I had the worst experience ever at the Sizzler on 51st Ave and Indian School in Phoenix, AZ. After being reprimanded by the manager and receiving poor treatment from corporate headquarters, I did some investigation and uncovered some alarming information. The Sizzler Corporation is currently not in good standing, according to the Arizona Corporation Commission website. Additionally, there are numerous health code violations, including reports of roaches in the food, and less than 50% of the staff possess a food handler's license. In the past two years, there have been over 15 other health violations, including slime found on the drinking fountain nozzles, as reported by the Maricopa County Health Department. To summarize: 1. The establishment is unclean, 2. It has failed multiple health inspections, 3. It is behind in its reporting to the Corporation Commission, 4. It has poor customer relations—at least in my case, 5. The service is inadequate, and 6. The management is lacking."

I've been going to Sizzler since I was a kid (back in California), and I've been going to this particular location for about 20 years, never once had a bad experience friendly staff and great food.

The manager was friendly, and the service was excellent. The restaurant was in immaculate condition, very clean, and the food was fantastic. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a nice, clean place to enjoy dinner with wonderful, friendly service.

My husband and I ordered the steak and Malibu chicken, and both of our steaks were so tough they ended up being taken home to give to the dogs. Son ordered a BBQ burger which he said was mediocre although he did eat more than half. Sizzler used to be my favorite dinner place, but times have definitely changed. View menu

I visited this restaurant today with my father, and we had a wonderful experience at Sizzler. The manager was fantastic, and our server was attentive and friendly, making our visit enjoyable. I ordered my steak medium rare, and it was cooked perfectly! I will definitely come back if I have another day off work!

I haven't dined at Sizzles in years, but I stopped by on my way to work and was very impressed. The atmosphere is lovely! I appreciate that they allow open seating. You can choose where to sit after looking at the menu displayed on the wall. The salad bar and buffet are an additional $5, but for all-you-can-eat at that price, along with a menu order, it's quite a deal! Well done!

The food was good, but I found the prices a bit high for the quality. For instance, the steak plate here costs more than at Texas Roadhouse. I added the salad bar for an extra $8 to my bill of $88, but when I took my two sons to get some fruit, the host, Yadira, informed me that my sons needed separate salad bars for $7 each just to get fruit. No thanks! The plate they were trying to charge me extra for was ridiculous. The lady even made my son cry by telling him he couldn't have fruit. I will NEVER come back. View menu

The food was excellent! I loved the lobster, and the steak was incredibly delicious—my plate was left completely clean. The steak and skewers were great as well. The only downside was that the steak could have been a bit larger, as it was smaller than what I've had at other places. The salad bar offered a variety of options, including clam chowder, chicken soup, salads, a range of toppings, dressings, macaroni, make-your-own tacos, and much more. Our waiter was attentive and constantly checked on us. Overall, it was an amazing experience!

I rarely write reviews, but I have to share my experience. I tried sizzler for the first time tonight, and I’m so glad I did. I ordered a steak and Malibu chicken, along with a loaded baked potato and mashed potatoes, and everything was cooked just the way I like it. The steak was the most flavorful I’ve ever had, and the baked potato was simply perfect. The mashed potatoes and gravy were incredible, and since I had never tried Malibu chicken before, I can confidently say I finished that plate in no time. I will definitely be returning soon—my highest praise goes to the chef!
