"Delicious pies and outstanding customer service! PIES: Their dessert pies are incredibly creamy and rich, but not overly sweet—just the right balance of sweetness and flavor. I also really enjoyed their savory pies, especially the chicken herb pie, which I highly recommend! STAFF: I visited this restaurant with my husband to celebrate his birthday. When I called to confirm their hours, the person I spoke to was very friendly. They even took the time to call me back to inform me that their hours had changed due to a broken air conditioner, which I thought was really considerate. To top it off, they gave us an extra pie after accidentally dropping the last piece of the one we ordered. It was a great experience overall!"

The southern ham melt was one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. The Door County cherry pie alamode was amazing. Will definitely be back.

Cute location on a quiet corner with a walk up window and plenty of outdoor seating. Delicious savory hand pies (we had the sausage hashbrowns and the Cuban pork) and fruit pie (peach). The coffee is a great blend paired with the flaky pie crust.

The coffee and savory hand pies were absolutely perfect! I was glad to find the walk-up window and restroom available, especially since indoor seating is still closed. I can't wait to return and sample more pie flavors! The house coffee is definitely worth the trip. View menu

I absolutely love Smol Pie! It's our favorite stop on the way to the beach. They offer delicious sweet and savory hand pies, tasty breakfasts, and delightful baked treats. Plus, they serve both hot and iced coffee. The outdoor seating is peaceful and quiet. Overall, I’d rate the food a perfect 5 out of 5!

I can't see how spending $9 plus tip for a small piece of pie without any crust is reasonable. I'm very disappointed every time I visit. It seems like something goes wrong with my order each time. I keep giving it a few months and then returning, but it’s always the same experience. Ugh. I don't think I'll be coming back.

Yes! Big fan. I love its simplicity and its very neighborhoody vibes. I live nearby so I have to say that it is very convenient for me to have such a place in business. They don't offer huge menu. And the menu changes daily and sometimes hourly. This place offers fresh food. Their savory pies are all great. The dessert too. I don't think you can go wrong with most options here. The place allows for outdoor seating. I'm not sure if there is an accessible restroom right now since indoor is closed for public. Parking is not an issue. View menu

We stopped by this place on our way out of town, and we were really impressed! They have an excellent selection of baked goods, and everything we tried was amazing. The toffee cookie was huge, soft, and dense. The cherry hand pie was sweet with a wonderfully flaky, rich caramelized crust—absolutely delightful! I highly recommend visiting this spot if you’re in Milwaukee for the first time. The slice of vanilla cake was incredible too; I had to show a lot of self-control to avoid devouring it all at once. As for parking, it was easy to find on the street.

I ordered my usual mocha to go while on a walk. The place was busy due to the warm weather, but the staff remained friendly and greeted me with smiles. They even took the time to explain why my mocha took a little longer to prepare, which I appreciated. Many places don’t bother communicating about wait times. I typically enjoy their triple chocolate cookie or one of their pies, both of which are fantastic. However, I skipped those today. Honestly, everything I’ve tried there has been delicious! I love supporting this small business and its awesome staff, and the food is just incredibly good. Plus, seeing all the other happy customers reassures me that I'm making the right choice.

"This restaurant was really trying to be the third coast by dumping the entire ocean 's worth of salt into their dishes. I have never been so thirsty in my life the day after I ate here. With the number of great reviews on top of the beautiful interiors, I had such high expectations for this restaurant that I happily brought my partner and his father (who traveled from out of the country to visit to the restaurant. Imagine my disappointment and embarrassment for bringing them here, only to be given overpriced and oversalted food. The only redeeming factors of the restaurant were the interior design (absolutely gorgeous , the potholes (delicious but still salty , and our waitress who served us in the mezzanine on 10/8 (I forgot her name, sorry! . When we first got our appetizer--the mushrooms, we were literally eating a spoonful of salt at a time. I RARELY send back food, but I had to send the mushrooms back before the dish induces any hypertensive emergency among us. After we got the new mushrooms dish after telling our waitress we wanted just 1/4-1/3 of the salt, the dish still came back extremely salty and the waitress said the cook apologized for ACCIDENTALLY DOUBLE-SALTING THE DISH. I 'm sorry, but WHAT. All of our subsequent dishes then tasted all just like salt without a hint of other seasoning. I wasn 't sure if it 's because our tastebuds were so skewed after eating so much salt that our remaining dishes just didn 't taste that great. It was just salty. Anyways we walked out with a $260 bill for three people which was outrageous for this quality of food in Milwaukee of all places. I 'm not sure how people are raging about this restaurant. I have sworn to never return and have told others to avoid going to this restaurant altogether. Opt for somewhere else for better quality food that 's actually worth the cost."
