"A lot of choices. It wasn't too busy when I went there. They have different stations where you can get food. Pick up a tray and walk up and make your selection. I had 2 half sandwiches and a bag of chips. I had never been there before and wasn't familiar with how they were laid out. I picked the #1 Amalfi and #5 Milano. However they made me a #5 and a #8. They tasted fine, but the #1 is a vegetarian and the #8 a meat. Not a problem for me, other than I wanted the vegetarian, but that could have been a big problem for a vegetarian."

The BLT Salad is amazing! It’s my top choice for a salad in the Loop. Food: 5/5

Awesome Italian style Americanized eatery. Salad was great. I'm sure everything else is good here just based on presentation alone

Delicious food with a wide variety of options. They offer pizza, pasta dishes (including gluten-free options), salad combinations, sandwiches, and ready-to-go items. Overall, I'd rate the food a 4 out of 5. View menu

Where else could you get half a pizza and a 'half ' salad for under 10 bucks? Either one of them is enough to fill you up. One of the best lunch deals. Plus the staff has been there forever and they 're all very nice. It always lifts my heart and satisfies my belly at Sopraffina.

I recently placed our third catering order for the office, and I have to say, the food is excellent! The prices are reasonable, and there's always an abundance of food. However, the highlight is definitely the customer service! Even though we're not regular customers, Doug from the catering team recognized our company, location, and even our previous order. They consistently do a fantastic job!

The menu is the main attraction here, featuring various stations that serve pizza, salads, antipasti, and more, along with daily specials at each one. Despite the limited space, there's an impressive variety of options available, and the lines keep moving even during peak times. While there are plenty of tables, finding a seat during the lunch rush is more of a fortunate bonus than a certainty. View menu

I have had the experience of trying their food via catering through my company. The fact I not only get a vegan, but gluten free lunch box??? I can't believe it. I am a very picky food eater and everything from their brownie to the superfood antipasti and sandwich was amazing. I wish I could eat food as fresh and flavorful in my own town!Vegetarian options: There is plenty of ways to go veggie.Dietary restrictions: Vegan, gluten free, dairy free.

The restaurant offers a variety of options including salads, panini, pizza, and soup, with the possibility of combo meals for under $8, plus tax. I tried a salad along with half of a panini, both of which were fantastic. Despite it being crowded during lunchtime, the service was impressively quick. It's a wonderful spot for breakfast, with delicious food at affordable prices. The staff is friendly and attentive, making it an ideal place to enjoy a peaceful breakfast before your day begins.

"Tempesta is arguably one of the best sandwich shops in the city. They make a lot of their meats in house and use high quality ingredients so you know you’re getting the good stuff. Not only can you get a great sandwich, you can purchase most of their meats to go as well as other small artisanal grocery items. I have tried almost every sandwich they have on the menu but my top two choices would be the #1 The Dante and the #2 Yo! Vincenzo! The Dante is their version of a classic Italian sandwich but a bit on the spicier side. The Yo Vincenzo is a chicken parm and I personally think it’s the best chicken parm sandwich in the city. The chicken is perfectly crispy, and they use just the right amount of sauce where it doesn’t get soggy. Both of these sandwiches come on their fresh baguette which helps set them apart from other sandwich spots in Chicago just because of how good it is. The B Franklin is also a great option, and if you’re starving get the Wagyu Pastrami but be warned it is a very heavy sandwich because of that Wagyu. The last pro tip I’ll add in here is order your sandwich ahead of time if you’re doing takeout. This is a very popular spot and is always busy during the lunch rush so if you wait to order until you arrive you may need to wait for 10-15 minutes. That should speak to how good this place is because it’s in such high demand, so if you’re in Chicago make sure you stop in!"
