"The ramen here is fantastic and truly satisfying. Unlike some other ramen places, they don't skimp on the broth. The portions are generous, and I chose to add extra charshu, which was a great decision. The fried calamari appetizer was also tasty. However, the seating can be a bit awkward, and the restaurant doesn’t have a cozy atmosphere. If you’re craving good ramen and prefer a straightforward vibe, this is the spot for you. It’s better suited for casual dining or solo visits rather than a romantic dinner, as the ambiance feels quite basic—not in a minimalist Japanese way, but more like a cold, budget deli. Nevertheless, the ramen is definitely worth it."

The Tan Tan Ramen and Ima Geso Age at this restaurant were definitely worth every penny. The flavors were fantastic and I thoroughly enjoyed every bite.

Fantastic. Always give me extra eggs when I ask and the ramen is delicious and you get tons. The veggie gyoza has whole little veggies in it. Deeply comforting, hits every time, 10/10 View menu

Got the gyoza and classic shoyu ramen w/ spicy ground pork. Food is all around decent but definitely not on par with NYC standards. Definitely a bit overpriced. Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Price per person: $20–30

The Tan Tan Ramen was fantastic, with amazing flavor and a satisfying broth. The Chicken Fried Rice was also delicious, packed with vegetables. The whole meal was very filling. I will definitely be ordering this again, 10/10.

The Tan Tan Ramen was delicious and came in a generous portion size, making it worth the price. The only drawback was that it only came with half an egg. The Gyoza was slightly undercooked, but after refrying them, they turned out perfectly. I will definitely be ordering from here again, as they offer great prices for high-quality food. View menu

Ramen was great, as were the salmon tartare and kimchi. Service was friendly and fast. The only thing we didn’t enjoy was the loud Spanish music coming from the kitchen. Nothing against the music, but it didn’t really fit the concept of a ramen place. We’ll be back. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30

I wanted to love my order but the Classic Shoyu Ramen had a fishy aftertaste (like fish oil was in it), so I couldnt enjoy it unfortunately. The South Slope Chicken Wing (5pcs) need to be taken off their menu because them oversized thick slimy-skinned soggy "chicken sections" were disgusting! Its more cost effective to get a pre-made or packaged cup of noodles or ramen from H-Mart imo. That chicken-ish appetizer alone have me questioning the taste and quality of their other dishes.

"When we called to reserve a table, no one informed us that there was a dining time limit of 1.5 hours. My friend wanted to invite more people to join us for dinner, but I was unsure if everyone would agree to the minimum charge of $60, including taxes and tips. I confirmed a reservation for 7 people during my second call, but ultimately, only 6 of us showed up. The table we were given was quite small, making it uncomfortable for six people, especially with the mandatory minimum spending of $60, as well as a 20% tip. For just two people, the minimum tip is 18%. I was confused about the dining time limit—was it two hours or 1.5? The party area was limited to just the backyard for additional seating. I was with friends who didn’t know the group well, and we arrived early at 3 PM, but we couldn’t wait until 6:30 PM. That’s why we ended up sitting at a separate table for two. Unfortunately, the restaurant didn’t seem to care and couldn’t arrange for us to be seated closer together. We had no choice in the matter. To make matters worse, the female waiter had a poor attitude. It felt like we were dining in a sidewalk market. She questioned another girl who served me ponzu sauce, apparently because I looked impatient when I saw her face. Her attitude only worsened after that. It seems like they need to train their employees better, as they seem unaware of how to provide good service. As for the food, it was just okay, typical of basic Japanese cuisine. There were too many restrictions! Customers are forced to adhere to the restaurant’s rules and limitations. I cannot recommend this place unless someone is specifically looking for a fast-food experience. In short, I don’t think I’ll be returning next time."
