"Today, we visited the restaurant and ordered two 3-piece dinners, one with mashed potatoes and the other with fries. When we arrived home (40 minutes away), one of the dinners only had 2 pieces of chicken, while the other had 3. Unfortunately, the chicken breast in one of the dinners was severely undercooked, causing blood to seep out onto the fries and roll, rendering the entire meal inedible. This was the first time we have been disappointed with the food from this restaurant, as it has always been excellent in the past. We urge the restaurant to do better, as no one should have to spend money on improperly cooked food and should receive exactly what they ordered."

Whew!! The chicken is GOOD GOOD! Fries are cut just right. This is the only place I eat at on the trips down 49.

This restaurant is exceptional. The dirty rice is unbelievable! As the CEO of a private corporate inflight catering company, we cater to billionaires with discerning tastes on a daily basis. The meal was fantastic and the service was top-notch.

I have to say, when I go there, our food is always hot. I'm sorry, but I don't remember the last time I went to popeyes. you make a great job, especially if you don't feel like cooking after you get rid of the work. it's my daughter's new favorite place?

This was my first time there. The chicken was delicious. I am not sure if they indoor service. We went to the drive thru window. The line was long but it moved quickly. And the most important thing to me is that the order was correct. It's handicap accessible and you can see it from the highway. View menu

This restaurant has the worst attitudes I have ever encountered. Most of the time when I visit, I have to bring my food back because it is not correct. The staff gets an attitude when this happens. I suggest trying the southern classics at the locations in Natchitoches and Shreveport instead. The service at the Alexandria location is lacking and they either need new staff or should consider closing down.

This restaurant is a hidden gem, possibly serving the best fried chicken in a fast food setting. The fried chicken is perfectly prepared with a dry, crispy breading and skin, and the moist chicken still tastes great even 2 days later. There is a slight spicy kick to the flavor without any sauce, making you crave more without being overwhelming. The Cajun seasoned fries are crispy and full of flavor. I will definitely be returning for more.

"This place really helped me adjust. I later learned that people gravitate towards certain bars, and I found my favorites, especially those with live music like Birchmere, Black Cat, 9:30 Club, Lincoln, Capital One Arena, and even the now-closed O'Shaughnessy's and Rock & Roll Hotel. One of my most memorable experiences was running into Rory Sheridan on one of my first visits. He was launching his DC music campaign back then and was part of Loud Boyz. We chatted a few times, and I even caught up with some old classmates. Another highlight was when I heard about a “reunion” night before Thanksgiving, and I decided to crash it. There were moments where people could be unkind or I felt out of place, but I was given some guidance on where I would fit in better, without the unnecessary drama. Being in Old Town, I was familiar with nearby schools like West Potomac, Mount Vernon, and Bishop Ireton. During my visits, I would often take an Alexandria cab or use Metro Access, being discreet about my disability since I felt embarrassed at times. Being a regular meant navigating the tourist scene, and there were people who seemed territorial about the place, but I ended up doing quite well when I sold my house. Good times continued with events like watching RG3 play for the Redskins or meetups organized by JT. I enjoyed New Year’s celebrations and weekend outings. I also frequented other establishments like Flying Fish before it closed, and O'Shaughnessy's before I decided to stop drinking. This is a sports bar located near a bicycle shop, close to the Ben & Jerry's I used to work at, along with many other walkable bars for bar hopping, like Union Street Pub and Fish Market. It can be a great place to have fun, but with the good comes some downsides. Overall, I felt well-hosted and respected here, despite some things I was not initially aware of or didn’t want to uncover."
