"A few weeks ago, I stopped by this restaurant for lunch while passing through, and I was really impressed. The service was prompt and friendly, and the food was outstanding. I ordered a pulled pork sandwich with slaw and a tomato-based bisque with gouda that was simply divine. My meal was prepared quickly with hardly any wait time. The place was bustling with locals who clearly appreciate the great food and inviting atmosphere. It's conveniently located right off the highway, making it easy to access if you're traveling nearby. Southern Scoops is the best place in the county for lunch and/or ice cream. The restaurant and bathroom are always clean. Not many places that keep their bathroom clean. The music is great, 50's/60's. Can't beat the menu selection, too. The food is delicious. And, well, Hersey's ice cream! Can't beat that! I would give them more stars if I could! Owners and staff are very nice and accommodating.
