Fried chicken was great! Wonderful service! Stopped on our way home from the Outer Banks to NJ.

All you can eat Buffett..everything just good cook.no bling just great full food..cant wait to go back.

The service here is very friendly, and we absolutely love the chicken strips. The catfish is outstanding! The collard greens can be a bit hit or miss, but overall everything is delicious. Don't miss out on trying the banana pudding—it's a must!

As always Southland Buffet was great. I really wanted fish and only my luck they had, Talapia Nuggets, Wels Nuggets, black and baked fish. Happy day! Was not able to get an extractant from the buffet, a bit sad. I think this policy should definitely be revised.

My friend and stayed for lunch and chose the buffet. It was absolutely delicious! They had breakfast items on one side like sausage sword and biscuits, scrambled eggs, French toast, etc. And on the other hand, lunch was food like roasted chicken, BBQ, roasted catfish, potatoes and gravy. I could go on. There was a salad bar, an fruit bar and desserts. And to finish it from our waitress was amazing, I wish I remembered her name so I could thank her. I'll eat there again! Adjacent to the restaurant is a charming little gift shop stocked with both practical and fun items, so there's something for everyone. They also offer gas, lottery tickets, and fountain drinks to go. A note regarding family amenities: the restaurant has a third bathroom (gender-neutral) equipped with a changing table. While the changing table's belt is broken, it was quite clean. High chairs are also available and in working order (a rarity, as many places have at least one strap out of service). Overall, I highly recommend this spot!

My husband and I visited Southland on Sunday around noon. A 10 minute wait was absolutely worth it! I got fried pork chops, collards and fries and it was delicious to say the least. He got Country fried steak with collards and Mac and cheese. He said it was the best he’s ever had and of course I would have to agree but the best part of our visit was our waitress Kay. She made sure our lunch was on point! Very informative about the restaurant, smiling and always checking to see if we needed anything! The sweetest waitress!!!! If you go, please ask for her, you won’t be disappointed!!

Great place to stop and eat. My father and I stayed here and had lunch buffet. The food was excellent! Great salad bar very fresh toppings and I like the dressings including my favorite, poppy. My favorite bar box. Besides, I liked the green beans and mash potatoes, the red skin had i. Them, yummy! My father loved fried chicken and he's funny about his fried chicken. Very clean restaurant with the bathrooms. Too bad they didn't have such a place on the outer banks. Prices very reasonable and good service. Our waiter was very nice and filled our drinks. We stop here on the way to or from Virginia. It's tradition. View menu
