"I've tried this place several times and finally got a chance to write a review. I've always ordered the 2-choice(combination) Teishoku and tried different kinds of items. After every visit, I must say, everything was good! The quality and presentation is top notch. This time, I ordered the Chicken Teriyaki and Mini Chirashi combination. The chicken was excellent. It was soft, and the teriyaki sauce was very flavorful, not overwhelming. The mini Chirashi (which was an extra charge of $4) came with ahi, salmon, shrimp, tako, and ika. Everything was fresh and tasty, especially when slightly dipped in wasabi/shoyu sauce. Tan ordered the combination salmon and spicy ahi. I had a piece of salmon, and it was cooked to perfection. The Spicy Ahi(another extra charge of $3) was also flavorful. It was more on the creamy side than on a chunky side. Both combinations were served with miso soup and a bowl of greens. Hot tea was also included. The only downside of all my visits was that they always ran out of Ahi Tempura. We came in 15 minutes after opening at 5:15 pm, and it was sold out 5 minutes prior. Hot item!! I would have given them a 4 star, but the food quality and customer service were superior. It made up for that star. It was so good we made a salmon takeout order for tomorrows lunch."

I had a delicious plate with a choice of spicy ahi and tonkatsu, and the mandoo was also tasty. The staff was excellent. Just a heads up, there’s no military discount available. Service: Dine-in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30.

This place offers the best spicy ahi bowls in Hawaii! For takeout dinner, I found the prices to be reasonable, averaging around $20 to $30 per person. I would rate the food a solid 5 out of 5, as well as the service and atmosphere. I highly recommend trying the Tonkatsu, Spicy Ahi and Vegetable Tempura, as well as the Sashimi! View menu

Always a delightful experience! If you're looking for authentic local Japanese flavors, you should definitely check this place out. My family and I order takeout here at least once a month, and we always go for the same dish: Spicy Ahi on sushi rice... absolutely delicious! The staff is friendly and attentive, the food is consistently tasty, and the restaurant is well-maintained. That’s all you need to know—go eat here!

My husband and I tried this place for the 1st time a few days ago. The food was very delicious, tasted fresh, came out hot, and give a lot. The staff was very nice and tentative. We liked it so much we decided to go back the next day. This place will be my our new spot to eat. I wish we discovered it sooner!! Great place!! We tried the spicy ahi, the mochiko chicken, chicken katsu, Teri salmon, and the vegetable tempura. All so tasty.

The food is excellent and the service is great. While it is on the pricey side, you definitely get your money's worth. I always order the combo, and it's so filling that I have no need to stop at Jack In The Box afterward. Plus, they offer FREE refills on rice! Yes, you read that right—RICE! The only downside is that the place is often crowded, which is a good sign, but it can mean a wait. They could also benefit from having more high chairs, as they only have one. Overall, I give Spicy Aho BBQ two thumbs up!

Another day of searching for dinner... What to eat? I was feeling too lazy to shop and cook, but I still wanted something healthy! I decided on the Spicy Ahi salad, which comes topped with delicious Spicy Ahi. It was a fantastic choice! The meal also included miso soup, rice, and pickled ginger on the side. I opted for takeout, so no dishes to wash afterwards! I recommend calling ahead as it's usually ready in about 20 minutes. The staff is really friendly, and it's a great place to dine in as well, with tables that can be easily rearranged to fit your group size. This restaurant is so popular that there's often a line, but trust me, the food is absolutely worth the wait! The menu features a...

"Ordered Sadie Special 27.00 meats burned like black, Korean style butterfish 28.00- outside no flavor inside fish 0- flavor, so happen red color sauce, way to sweet like corn syrup Korean seafood pancake 18.00 massive batter on both sides, very oily very little seafood inside which left half uneaten! Horicha tea should be served hot, came totally cold. Notified server, gave me puzzled look she blamed on last workers didn't plug outlet. I also told her about bad seafood pancake butterfish, she said she isn't the owner will notify. Next table their mandoo came uncooked they had to send back for crispness! There were only 2 tables with us Included, but 4 different takeout walk-in customer orders seem more important since my order came later than my husbands. Called owner he said he was the son of the owner they make food for local taste(sweet) not for Korean taste! Why then they pass off as Korean restaurant? Local people like good tasty food, not just sweet taste as per owner implied. No satisfaction from staff in the restaurant, Called to complain he said I was ranting when actually was complaining- next step, POST terrible review! Infact the owner stated staffing shortage new servers like we need to hear more excuses! See Joshua Wallin 6 month ago post, that's what Seafood or green onion pancake should look like, not mine! To bad I didn't take photo's as evidence!!!"
