"The patio is quite pleasant and I can imagine it's a lovely spot to sit when the weather is nice. However, when we arrived, they were struggling with the rain, so the ordering process was a bit chaotic, with some orders taken inside and others outside, leading to some confusion. The classic breakfast with bacon was enjoyable, but the timing of our breakfast items was quite staggered, with drinks and food arriving about 15 minutes apart. To top it off, when another group's order was being served, a young lady accidentally dropped one of the boxes, which then rolled away. A nearby patron picked it up and it was awkwardly placed back with the food to be handed to the customer, which probably should have been discarded instead. This might have just been an off day, but there are definitely some areas that could use improvement."

The neighborhood around a convention center can be a real food dead zone, so this place was a life saver ! I came here three times in 48 hours!! Great artisanal selection of coffee and beer, and a nice lunch menu. Cute spot and very friendly staff View menu

Super chill breakfast spot. Great music and street views. Had the Challah French Toast and Banana Bread Latte, and it was amazing. Ordering is accomplished on your phone, so there's not a lot of interaction with staff... but they were very nice and aware of the orders.

Lovely cafe and coffee shop with unique and delicious menu. The soup and grilled cheese are great! They have amazing seasonal drinks and seating indoors and outdoors. There is WiFi, a decent amount of outlets and their selection of music in the cafe is eclectic and a mix at a volume loud of enough to enjoy but not be distracting. And the area around the cafe is gorgeous, walkable, and inviting.

Decent cafe in the park. Expect to order and wait outside. Their restrooms are around the corner in the other main building, and definitely aren't enough for the amount of seating they have. We came in the afternoon when there weren't many people and we'restill waiting in line. I also thought the outside table setup was a bit unfortunate when they had a normal inside cafe. I'mguessing that that was COVID reasoning, but when everywhere else allows people inside it felt a bit out of place. I wasn't ahuge fan of their mimosa, but their marg was good. View menu

I ordered the classic breakfast with bacon, which was tasty, but our entire party received their food at staggered times—drinks came out about 15 minutes apart from the food. A particularly unfortunate moment occurred when a young woman accidentally dropped a box of food from a different table; it rolled away and was picked up by another customer, who then returned it to the food pile for someone else. It would have been better if those items had been replaced rather than served again. While it might have just been an off day, there are definitely areas that could use some improvement.

This is a decent cafe located in the park. Be prepared to order and wait outside, as the restroom facilities are situated in another main building around the corner, which isn’t sufficient for the amount of seating available. We visited in the afternoon when the crowds were minimal, yet we still found ourselves waiting in line. I also felt that the outdoor table setup was a bit unfortunate, especially given that they have a regular indoor cafe. I assume this was a measure taken during the COVID pandemic, but since most places are now allowing indoor dining, it seemed a bit out of place. I wasn't a big fan of their mimosa, but I did enjoy their margarita.

"Tempesta is arguably one of the best sandwich shops in the city. They make a lot of their meats in house and use high quality ingredients so you know you’re getting the good stuff. Not only can you get a great sandwich, you can purchase most of their meats to go as well as other small artisanal grocery items. I have tried almost every sandwich they have on the menu but my top two choices would be the #1 The Dante and the #2 Yo! Vincenzo! The Dante is their version of a classic Italian sandwich but a bit on the spicier side. The Yo Vincenzo is a chicken parm and I personally think it’s the best chicken parm sandwich in the city. The chicken is perfectly crispy, and they use just the right amount of sauce where it doesn’t get soggy. Both of these sandwiches come on their fresh baguette which helps set them apart from other sandwich spots in Chicago just because of how good it is. The B Franklin is also a great option, and if you’re starving get the Wagyu Pastrami but be warned it is a very heavy sandwich because of that Wagyu. The last pro tip I’ll add in here is order your sandwich ahead of time if you’re doing takeout. This is a very popular spot and is always busy during the lunch rush so if you wait to order until you arrive you may need to wait for 10-15 minutes. That should speak to how good this place is because it’s in such high demand, so if you’re in Chicago make sure you stop in!"
