"I was quite disappointed with my experience at Spoleto tonight. I ordered the cod, but received four small pieces served on a bed of tomato paste alongside mashed potatoes. The mashed potatoes were watery and spread thinly, giving the impression of a larger portion. The best part of the meal was probably the braised greens, simply sautéed in olive oil and garlic. Even so, the portion of greens, though small, was still bigger than the fish, which I’d estimate weighed no more than 3-4 ounces. This dish was priced at $26. On a positive note, the server was professional and attentive. If you’re seeking satisfying, good food, there are several places in Northampton where you can dine outside, bring your own wine, and enjoy fantastic meals at half the cost."

I'm a bit concerned that this restaurant is listed as being on Bridge Street. The Spoleto I visited seemed more like it was located on Main Street, but that's beside the point...

I truly enjoy Spoleto's. The menu offers a variety of delicious options, and there are many comfortable seating arrangements, along with excellent drink choices. I've eaten and had drinks there several times, and each experience has been delightful. View menu

Lovely outdoor seating, though it could benefit from a bit more lighting. They offer fireplace tables, which add a cozy touch. The menu features a limited variety of Italian dishes alongside a wide range of drinks. Despite the small menu, the food was outstanding! A great spot for a romantic dinner.

I rarely write reviews, but I have to say Abby is the best server I’ve ever encountered. She’s incredibly kind, smart, attentive, and highly skilled. Thank you for making our evening so special. We especially appreciated how gentle and caring you were with our blind elderly dog. You’re truly the best!

I was eager to try this restaurant due to its long-standing reputation, but unfortunately, it fell short of my expectations based on the reviews. The service was merely average, and the quality of the food didn't warrant the high prices. I've experienced better Italian cuisine for less! I don't plan to return here for a meal. However, they do offer an impressive drinks menu, making it a decent place to relax and enjoy some beverages. View menu

"Hours- Saturday hours on Google are incorrect. The place shuts down from 2pm til 5 PM while the staff is getting ready for dinner crowd. This was extremely inconvenient as we had to spend money on extra parking and also try to find something else to do for few hours. Staff- The moment you walk in , you imidiately face the sushi bar and the big chef of the house, the man himself who greats you and then hits his gong with a mallet to let everyone know that you have arrived, VIP is here! I thought it was great. The male waiter welcomed us next and offered us few areas to sit down in, we wanted to stay next to the chef so we stayed downstairs at the sushi bar. (They do have main sitting area upstairs) Food- The place offers Omakase, so we went with that ONLY because the chef was very friendly. We had multiple variations of sushi and sashimi made by chef and his staff. All the foods were photographed for this review, except the eel temaki. Toro was so fat and so smooth, with a very mild fish flavor. The oysters with raw quail egg were probably my favorite, absolutely brilliant! So smooth, nothing funky, just smooth and delicious! Yellowtail was fresh tasting. Their rice in the sushi was great as well (I dont know what all these Daves and Maries complain about it) One negative thing about our experience- the woman kept on making sure we're OK with the price of Omakase after we had repeated multiple times we didnt care about the price tag we wanted the experience (so that kind of put me back in my seat for a quick minute but it's ok, or as my husband said they probably experienced some fools before and so they're trying to protect themselves against that kind of crowd) Overall, it is a great place for good quality sushi right here in DT NoHo. Prices are reasonable for normal menu items. Omakase cost us about $60 a person, and with some sake we looked at about $150 when we were done. Thank you."
