"If you’re a Foodie and traveling near New Orleans, please stop in at St. Rose Tavern in New Sarpy, LA. For a Wednesday what a surprise this family owned restaurant-bar was just a happenin’. Bonus they sell canned preserves and pickled almost everything! Friendly and welcoming to us out of staters. Service beyond great. The one server was handling the bar, dine in, to go orders, call in orders and chit chatting with the fine locals all the way. She even boxed our jarred goods. Awesomest tasting burger and hot sausage sandwich we’ve had. Thanks for the hospitality St. Rose Tavern. Hope to pass thru next time."

Not a lot of parking on site but next to. I go between lunch and dinner so it's usually quiet. Highly recommend. Comfortable and relaxing. Always have what I need before I ask. Incredible service. Slot machines Juke box Dine in or carry out Vegetarian options: It's easy to say no to meat. Except when it's so well prepared. CLT with onion rings ^cheese lettuce tomato or sweet potato fries. Salads. Go pescatarian enjoy some fresh local shrimp!!
