"My friends and I were looking forward to our meal at Gibsons, but the overall experience was just OK. We had a 7pm reservation but did not get seated until 7:45. It was busy there but this is unacceptable, and I was embarrassed because I had suggested going there. We each ordered a drink, appetizers, shared sides, and each of us got the 10 oz filet mignon. The mashed potatoes were beyond salty but the rest of the food was OK. Bottom line, though, is I have had better meals at half the price, and probably won't go back. The one bright spot was our sever, Diana, who was great."

"Our server may have been less experienced, serving too many tables, or had something else on her mind. She dropped off our drinks and didn't ask if we were ready to order anything. Asked for lemon wedges twice, and salt pepper never came to the table. Brought regular baked potato instead of sweet potato. Left us after the meal for a good min so had to flag her down for the check. Tuscan Kale Spinach salad was awful quite tough, very little dressing and very little on it (minced egg and sunflower seeds). Crab cakes were good, as was the baked goat chees appetizer"

"Service and food was great. Although I made reservation and asked for a booth. We got a table near where everyone was coming in. There were four booth with no one in them. Very disappointed! It was our 33rd anniversary. Martha"

"We visited this restaurant for the first time two years ago and were extremely impressed by the delicious taste and high quality of the food. We enjoyed all of the dishes we ordered. We returned later for the all-you-can-eat option, but were disappointed to find that the quality had significantly decreased since our first visit. We decided to give it another chance recently, but unfortunately it seems that the restaurant's quality is still declining. The shrimp tempura was limp and not crispy, covered in bread crumbs which is not the proper way to cook it."

"Last Saturday four of us went to Ditka 's in Oakbrook Illinois to celebrate a birthday. Let me backtrack, our friend Madelyn always said that she would die before her 68th birthday because both her parents and grandparents died before that age; she exclaimed that it was in her genes ! So, on the day after her 68th birthday we went to Ditka 's and had one of the best times we 've ever experience. There were only four of us but the only seating available was a table for 7 so they offered that to us and it was a good thing. We started with **** Mary 's, then Mike 's salad and Coach 's Pot Roast Nachos and finished with The Fridge Burger! Yes, we really needed that big table and had lots of leftovers. Although the restaurant was crowded we felt as though we had the place to ourselves. Our server, Amelia, helped with food selections but also had a special birthday surprise for Madelyn. The gentleman who seated us, possibly the manager, Tony stopped by multiple times to make sure that we were being well taken care of . Tony and Amelia made our not-a-funeral lunch unforgettable. Please thank them for us and thank Ditka 's for hiring the best chefs, and staff ! Sandy Abbinanti"
