"I'm from Indiana and this was my first visit to Nolan's...my boyfriend insisted that he had to take me. We started off with a very welcoming greeting by Marshall. We ordered two lemon drop martinis which were absolutely fantastic. We then decided that since we were having dessert that we would share a meal, as we usually do because we both don't eat a whole lot. We decided on the Captain's Platter...for starters the shrimp cocktail (one shrimp for each) was perfect and very tasty. The platter came out and presentation was superb. The filet was placed on a bed of sautéed mushrooms, while the lobster tail was placed onto a shredded bed of lettuce complimented with mashed potatoes and butter. When I took the first bite of the filet I seriously had melted and gone to this very beautiful place...my tastebuds were so taken back by how tender, flavorful, and magical this was. I'd never had a filet like this before. We ordered it medium rare which was cooked to perfection! The lobster was very juicy and dipping into the melted butter was very tasty. The mashed potatoes were absolutely amazing! The garlic and creamy taste was pure ecstasy! I had never tasted any potatoes like this ever. Marshall checked in on us and he was an absolute delight. Very attentive, friendly, and at times quite humorous. Definitely would go back to see him and enjoy his kindness and laughter. Lastly we ordered dessert...Marshall gave us the rundown and we chose the Creme brûlée. I honestly have never had a brûlée as exuberantly delicious as this one! The chocolate cup it was served in added an extra special layer to this already amazingly appetizing, palatable sweet! Overall I can't even describe anymore how much I enjoyed this restaurant and it's staff. The woman who I believe was the manager came out and asked how we were which was a lovely touch to our already wonderful experience. Thank you so much for my first visit to Nolan's which was a very welcoming and delectable time a very special and memorable one."

"I wish there were more places to eat in canandaigua. flavours is beautiful. they have a daily (M->F) buffet and there are always good choices for vegans. if in doubt, they simply ask the personal and they will be very helpful. chana masala, rice and a few other dishes I can not call, plus salat and several chutneys. they are automatically naan (made from yogurt and decorated in butter) but if they ask for a vegan brot, they can bring them roti or something else. beautiful place on a side street (35 lafayette street) between the planned parentage and the local army recruits. hmmm."

You were fantastic, Laura was so friendly, she offered great suggestions and made our time in the city unforgettable with her super friendly service and great suggestions this morning, she even gave us our drinks to go cups, so we could enjoy them on our last little walk around the city before you had our Erie Canal adventure boats and setting sail for home in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, it is the people like you and food"

"My wife and I had business in Canandagua and searched for a good spot for lunch. Eric's Office fit the bill nicely. We sat on the patio under a big awning and enjoyed great food served efficiently. I had an excellent open faced Reuben served with German potato salad. My wife had the Harvest Salad. We were both very pleased. The portion size was just right for both of us to clean our plates but be perfectly satisfied. I look forward to returning next time I'm in the area. "Sweet. Potato. Fries. Quite possibly the best sweet potato fries I’ve ever had straight from the potato to the pan. I had them with a Beyond Burger that was one of the bigger ones I’ve seen. It’s a cozy little neighborhood spot. I wasn’t there for sports, but if you’re looking to catch a game, it’s definitely a great place for that there were several TVs with a bunch of different games/channels going. We were there for the food and we didn’t feel out of place or anything, and we could still hear each other talk which was nice. I’d absolutely go again next time I’m in Canandaigua!"
