"We have been coming to this restaurant making a 30 mins drive frequently over the past year and have been enjoying their chicken dishes a lot. We went there yesterday and the owner was quite rude and told us that the meat is not halal. We were shocked as we only eat halal food and we have been eating their meat dishes for a year now. The owner was pleasant previously and knew that we are Muslims who only eat halal food but never bothered to tell us before. We are taken aback by this restaurant's false advertising about it being halal and the rude owner. Please don't spend your money to a dishonest business that takes advantage of people's religious food restrictions. Very disappointed!"

The food was delicious, the owner was very kind, and the prices were reasonable. I couldn’t ask for more! For vegetarians, they offer falafel.

The food was great and the owner was super helpful. I highly recommend this place if you want to try authentic Persian food. Kebabs were so delicious and yummy! The food presentation is very good too. View menu

Great quality food, and caring staff. Just be a little patient so they can prepare your food to the perfection that they want you to have. Great prices and portions. Great deserts that you must try. Wish their success.

Amazing food and excellent customer service! Loved the koobideh kabab. One of the best Persian food options in the Boston area! Allen (Alan? , the store owner is very personable and goes the extra mile to provide excellent customer service.

We can't praise this place enough! Every time we pick up a takeout order, we're greeted with fresh and delicious food. The dishes are beautifully presented and the portions are very generous. The owner and chef is friendly and accommodating. If you enjoy Mediterranean or Persian cuisine, you definitely need to give this place a try! View menu

Great spot to have in the neighborhood. Really flavorful and tender lamb and chicken, and I'm *super* picky about chicken. Hummus is absolutely delicious and I'm convinced has some secret ingredient i can't place. Good options from standard kebab to much more interesting flavor combos. Persian eggplant dip, strong recommendation. Friendly owner, great presentation in addition to flavor on all the food.

Amazing food! Whenever we host dinners with family and friends who are from many different cultures, this food makes everyone happy, even the picky eaters. The only danger is that the food is so delicious that we always over eat but the food is healthy so its a win-win. After tasting the hummus I can never go back to the super market hummus. The owner does everything by himself. He is super kind and always generous. We are very grateful to have this restaurant in Boston and for us this restaurant is our #1 favorite in Boston.

"No soup/sandwich shop compares in terms of price per quality, portion size, and different options in the area. I only started ordering from here about 2 weeks ago and I’ve now had 7 different kinds of soups and 4 different kinds of sandwiches after the first order I started ordering two soups and a sandwich aka a soup to save for later because they’re just that good, every one of them. Price is so very reasonable and depending on which combo you get you can make out with a full sized sandwich and large sized homemade soup for $14.While it’s hard to recommend one thing over another in this circumstance since it’s all been great in their own ways, the Chicken Chowder is something I plan on getting a quart of next time it’s available. The Chicken Barley and Chicken Lemon Rice are ones I plan on getting quarts of in the future as well, and that’s not to discount the Chicken Noodle, Beef and Veg Noodle Stew, French Onion, and the current seasonal Chilled Gazpacha (which I probably wouldn’t have even tried it wasn’t from these guys . It’s all top quality. The Chicken Tarragon sandwich is my favorite in terms of sandwiches although it can’t combo with a soup as of now (please let us! . The best cheap soup combo sandwich is a tossup between the Cilantro Tuna and Ciabatta Sandwich, which are both incredible in their own ways. The only few drawbacks to this place are they don’t have every soup they make every day, are only open until 4PM, and aren’t open on the weekends. That said it’s worth it to plan accordingly for this. I never review anything but this place is worth it it’s the best if you’re a soup and sandwich person like I am."
