We stopped by this restaurant on our way through town after a trip to the Finger Lakes. For just $20, we got two meats, two sides, and two sodas! I never expected to discover such excellent BBQ this far north! There's no seating available, so you'll need to dine elsewhere. I tried the pulled pork sandwich and cornbread, and both were fantastic! The sandwich was delicious and definitely left me satisfied. Plus, it was very affordable. Overall, I'd rate the food a 5!

I knew this authentic hole-in-the-wall joint had to be delicious when I saw they had to reinforce the picnic benches to hold a little extra weight! This place is the real deal for authentic barbecue. Best in the Southern Tier. Unless you want to dine inside, no need to drive to Dinosaur BBQ. The wait can sometimes be a little long because this is a family restaurant, but absolutely worth it. I’m embarrassed to say I plan my trips through Whitney Point to coincide with lunch and dinner.

This place was delicious! My southern belle of a girlfriend also gave it her thumbs up, so take that for what you will. We got the angry bird and it was moist, flavorful, slap me again kinda good. I would 10/10 recommend! We also got the pulled pork sandwich, though, and it was a tad dry. It just needed more bbq sauce. the flavor was there, but it left you wanting something more.
