"OMG! Steve's Place s/b listed as a MUST VISIT spot in Raleigh. By far, they serve the yummiest hot dogs you're gonna find. The fries, salads desserts are top notch too. When we walked in the door it was like stopping by a friends place. The staff is friendly welcoming. It was fun to see them greeting the regulars by name a special treat when were back the next day greeted like family. I plan to pack a few hot dogs in my carry-on to enjoy on the plane ride home."

I just had by the best Reuben I’ve ever had. It was incredible. It’s an unassuming joint but wow the food is awesome. I take back every 5 review I’ve given in the past because this is incomparable. 10 stars!

Just an AWESOME hot dog experience! This place serves a just about perfect hot dog. I got a Carolina red topped with chili, slaw, onions and mustard with a side of deviled eggs and every bite was sublime.Food: 5/5 View menu

I eat here quite often and I take my family here. The people are always friendly and helpful. The hotdogs are my favorite menu items but they also have great chicken salad and some terrific homemade cakes!Parking: Easy parking.

Great people and even better hot dogs!! You can also get the best deviled eggs as a page. Very cheap. It's hard to see from the street, but it's worth finding it. The hotel is located in the shops behind the Mattress Firm. And now they also offer great crispy frits!!

My new favourite place! Wow! Cosy, bright, funny, delicious! Has my favorites from growing up, including Bright Leaf red hot dogs and red hots. Try the red onion sauce! And Krickle cuts...omg, I love it. I also have containers of tuna salad, chicken salad and macaroni salad to take home for dinner. View menu

Super sweet and patient staff. HUGE MENU, and they do breakfast all day!! The hotdogs were awesome and they even let me add toppings that were not listed but they had for other sandwiches! Will be back great experience love supporting small business like this.

"I've been to the new Irregardless twice now. Once for a rather disappointing late brunch and a second time for a fabulous welcome back to town dinner. Their prices have definitely risen to The point where I won't be able to visit as much as I used to (and they also don't know what Eastern versus Western BBQ is, but I won't hold that against them). They're very conscious about vegan options and the dishes are still as high quality as I remember them being under the old management. Disappointed not to see any Raleigh brewing on the draft menu but the drink menu was very good. I got the most expensive vegan option of course. A North Carolina BBQ prepared maitake mushroom on mashed potatoes with a gorgeous, perfect amount of broccoli. Now the fiction kitchen has an Eastern BBQ plate which I love So I was very surprised when it showed up with a ketchup/tomato-based sauce. It was delicious Even though it was a western NC style barbecue sauce. Haha (My mom got the salmon The time blackberry cheesecake was divine. I hope they keep that one around because I'm definitely coming back for another slice. I'm happy to report that the staff are excellent, warm, friendly, and professional. Our waitress was friendly and delighted to answer all of our questions since we hadn't been for dinner yet. Brunch, the music was a little loud and by the time we actually got a table they were out of everything we wanted to order which is a little disappointing and speaks to poor planning. We did get was small but delicious. Not sure I would try brunch again unless I was really hankering for their brunch specifically and if so I would get a reservation a week ahead of time. As a person who's gone to this specific restaurant for over 2/3 of their life, I'm just glad that it's still exists and is in such good hands. I just hope they read up a little bit more on barbecue in North Carolina. And make more vegan things"
