"My husband and I were looking for someplace to have a nice seafood dinner. We drive by the Storming Crab often and thought we would try it. Worst decision ever. Our first clue should have been that the parking lot was empty at 6:00 on a Friday night. We ventured in. While some may appreciate the patrons messages on the wall, it was everywhere. A big turn-off. We sat down and I ordered a Hurricane Jay. This was one of the two highlights of my dining experience. I ordered scallops in garlic butter. My husband ordered two lobster tails. Our waitress brought us complimentary garlic crab cheese bread which was excellent. The remaining part of my dinner, not so much. I got 6 small-ish scallops, a salt potato cut in half and a half ear of corn. My scallops were gritty and the potato was nothing special- just a potato. My husband received two salt potatoes cut in half and a full ear of corn. The lobster tails were meager, he asked once for another fork to break into the tails to hunt for his meat, and when that didn't work he had to ask a second time for a shell cracker to search for the lobster meat. This experience dampened an otherwise pleasant evening. We paid Red Lobster prices for Long John Silver -type food. Next time I will drive the extra mile to Red Lobster. Giving this establishment one star is being generous."

Went out to lunch with my dad and was looking forward to some seafood and I was so disappointed! The menu items for entrees were around $75 a plate…and if you were looking for something for lunch you could eat a host of fried foods for around $15-$20 but nothing healthy. The restaurant decor looks like it was put together by a group of community college frat boys and the place was filthy.Never again.

I should have known better than to have seafood boil in such a land locked town. My suspicion was immediately raised when my order arrived within 10 minutes of ordering. That meant it wasn't freshly prepared. I could tell the corn had been sitting in butter for sometime. It was mushy and tasteless. The crayfish were barely edible--most rotted with black meat. I'm going to sleep hoping I'm not going to be sick in the morning.

We had previously visited a similar restaurant in Kentucky and really enjoyed it, so we were excited to try this one. However, they were out of crab legs and lobster, which was disappointing. To make matters worse, a woman was literally sprawled out across a booth bench. They also don’t serve iced tea, and the place was unclean. After considering all this, we decided to leave. We went to a nearby restaurant instead and shared our experience while waiting for a table. A woman overheard us and advised us to be thankful we didn’t eat there, as she had and had a terrible experience. View menu

This is a 'seafood shack ' type of ambiance. Ever been to Cape Cod? Many good seafood places operate out of roadside shacks. The etouffe is mediocre in flavor, but plenty of crawfish. we had the boil for 2, adding black mussels. Food was cooked correctly. Nothing was unsatisfactor, except the sausage was SUPER SALTY. The corn was especially good. Lobster tail, mussels, shrimp, potatoes, crabs, etc. were all good. I had a MAD ANDI which was good but somewhat weak in alcohol. Biggest disappointment were no oysters on a Friday (nor any whole lobsters, which we didn 't care about whole lobster). Some bottled alcohol on menu weren 't in stock. Service was attentive quick.

Was very disappointed with the whole storming crab experience. I was looking forward to some good seafood after looking at the menu online and tiramisu. When we arrived on a Sunday lunchtime the place was empty only one other couple there. The waitress didn’t know anything about the food. The soft shell crab was overpowered by the breading could not taste any meat. The gator meat was the same. Then the desert was the worst. Was looking forward to a nice creamy tiramisu that was shown on the online menu. What we got was a dried up cupcake with Imitation filling and whip topping on top and a crazy amount of chocolate syrup. And the cost was just shameful . Way over priced. Would not go there a...

Was really looking forward to some good seafood. The place was empty only one other couple there for a Sunday afternoon. The service was fair, the waitress new nothing about the food on the menu.the breading on the meat was very over powering lost all the flavor of the meat. Gator meat was all different sizes so some were ok while other pcs were overdone and hard.the sweet potatoe fries were good but didn't need the extra sugar on them. The most disappointment was desert. Their menu online showed a picture of luscious tiramisu I had that in my mind well what we got was a very small dried out cupcake with imitation filling and cool whip on top and over done with chocolate syrup. And the cost... View menu

This restaurant isn't what it used to be when it first opened. I get that inflation affects prices, but their pricing is outrageous. Half of the restaurant is closed, and while the decor was nice, it’s now covered in drawings from customers. Plus, many items on the menu were unavailable during our visit. My wife ordered a truly and received a 24oz can—quite large, if you’re unaware. That was fine until I noticed they charged $6.99 for it, which is a bit excessive considering you can find it for $3.50 at Dandy. My crab legs were priced at $32.99, which I think is reasonable for a pound. Overall, our bill came to $60.99, which isn't a bad price for seafood. However, the atmosphere doesn't just...

I was seated right away and given a menu along with some complimentary cheesy seafood bread. I ordered a Blue Moon, which arrived quickly. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Originally, I planned to order a seafood boil, but I thought it might be too much since I was planning to hit the bars later. Instead, I opted for fried alligator and gumbo soup. My server brought my hot, fresh meal in under 10 minutes, and the food was excellent. The one-star reviews I've seen must be from some unhappy customers because the food here is far better than Long John Silver's. They certainly don't skimp on portion sizes. Additionally, I didn't find the graffiti decor distracting or tacky, contrary...

"I went here with my girlfriend on a date it was our first time here. I was on the fence about ordering the goat cheese pizza. They told me if I did not like it I wouldn't have to pay for it. There was a misunderstanding due to there being pork on my goat cheese pizza. It was prosciutto. I thought prosciutto was a type of cheese honestly, that was my mistake. I tried to speak with my waiter about it, telling him I am Muslim and cannot eat pork. He took my pizza to have it remade. He came back angry and defensive, telling me it is not the restaurant's fault for having pork on the pizza. I told him he was right it's not but I never said it was the restaurant's fault, I just cannot have the pork due to religious reasons. My girlfriend chimed in to de-escalate the situation and told the waiter it was just a misunderstanding and we apologize for the inconvenience. The waiter told my girlfriend she should have been a big girl and should have picked the pork out of my pizza. I told the waiter that we were the customers and we aren't very happy with how we're being treated. The waiter stormed off and came back with the pizza. I thought that was that. After eating my new pork-free goat cheese pizza, the waiter came back with the bill and charged me for both goat cheese pizzas, going back on what he said earlier. I felt very attacked that night, and I will never go there again. No one should have to experience that at a restaurant. It was terrible service, I advise against having a meal at this place."
