"Small restaurant, highly suggest reservations, especially if a larger party. As a family of 4 we lucked out and were seated fairly quickly. We saw multiple parties of 6 or more they were not able to seat. If you want hibachi you have to make a reservation. The food was delicious. It took forever for our order to be taken and then everything came out in a weird order. We placed orders for a couple of appetizers first- the waitress suggested she go turn them in and then she would come back to get the rest of our order. Our kids ordered “kids hibachi meals” and those came out first, then our sushi and other food and eventually the apps. Again- delicious food."

I'm not sure why there are negative reviews here. The food was excellent! The Crunchy Roll with spicy sauce was delicious. The rice served with the Hibachi entree was also great.

Great food and great service! Our waitress was incredibly attentive and kind. The sushi was fantastic and even with a few other patrons in the restaurant, it came out semi-quickly! We even went back and ordered a second round of sushi because it was that good! The menu was quit large and had several options for appetizers, sushi, entrees, and hibachi!

Our server Maria went above and beyond to ensure satisfaction for everyone in our party. She provided detailed explanations of the menu items and consistently checked on our group. When one guest found their dish too spicy, Maria had it remade to their liking. The service was fantastic throughout our entire experience. This was our first time dining at Sugami, but it certainly won't be our last.
