"I've had the pleasure of both being a waitress (in the past) and a returning customer for this location and the one in Steubenville. The owners, John and Elle, are very kind and understanding bosses. The food is amazing, a bit pricey, but you get what you pay for. I look forward to take out and dining in because of how nice Elle is and how she always makes me feel like a person and not just another customer. The sushi is amazing always and I never have issues with my food. The kitchen staff are on top of their orders. I've been a customer well before working, so I promise I am extremely unbiased. Both locations are amazing little small restaurants. Sumo offers excellent food. The shrimp tempura is substantial and definitely worth the price. In addition to three shrimp, you also get onion, mushroom, broccoli, and sweet potato.

I was pleasantly surprised by how nice the interior was. It was very clean and comfortable. The waitress and other staff were impeccable. Then the food was awesome! I had the edamame and kalamari appetizers, then ordered the New York Strip Steak and Shrimp entree. It was so good that I made myself stop eating and get a to-go container. Lastly, it wasn't very expensive!!!
