"I have been vegan for about 21 years like 21 jump street like 21 the jersey that has been dominique wilkins for the atlanta hawks, while I have thrown down a tomahawk dunk. what do I do in my 21st year as vegan....well I get a vegan brunch writing this review. recently it went to sunrise restaurant for brunch. it is a brunch spot as open morning 7 clock to 15 clock. it is latino restaurant meets standard americana dinner. there are eight vegan options that I saw on the menu. I went with the vegan breakfast burrito. it came with buzzing, rice, soy, hash brown, sweet, avocado. the salsa it came w/ packed some serious heat. So if they like spicy eating, this is the place for them. the vegan breakfast burrito was solid, affordable, pretty direct forward. better than eating was the service as it is a mom pop shop. I felt the warm hospitality of the server that feels welcome, making the difference in a dining room experience. a critique of the menu is that the eight vegan elements are randomly placed from number nine to number 43. would appreciate all the vegan elements listed together to decrypt the menu. Other vegan items include fajitas, French toast, more. they should choose for a vegan brunch when in the mission."

We had an incredible breakfast burrito and chorizo at this restaurant! They even prepared some beans and rice for our son, which was only $4.

We had a wonderful lunch at Sun Rise. The menu had plenty of clearly labeled vegan options, and our server was able to inform us which ones were gluten-free. The vegan breakfast burrito was delicious, and my wife really enjoyed the tamales.

I tried the vegan soyrizo, black beans, and rice, and satisfied my sweet tooth with the vegan French toast. Everything was delicious. The best part was the separate section with 8-10 vegan options. I will definitely be returning to this restaurant.

The restaurant serves delicious home-style food with a variety of Latin and American options on the menu. They also offer a wide selection of breakfast choices that are available all day. The prices are reasonable and the staff is incredibly friendly.

I loved this place. Just a few vegan options for breakfast but delicious breakfast burrito. And it was huge. We also got fried plantains which were out of this world. I'll dream about those plantains for years to come. Vegan tamales on the menu but they were out.

This is my go-to for early morning vegan eats in San Francisco. Their vegan breakfast burrito with house-made soyrizo, vegan french toast, tofu scramble, and vegan pupusas are all delicious. The family who runs Sun Rise is also amazing and continue to add new vegan options to their permanent menu every so often. Prices are reasonable and the service is great. View menu

Several vegan options available. The burrito was really small but tasted all right, but the pupusa was stellar! I got the loroco one, which was the most Salvadoran option. I don’t know what the deal was with the salsa: it was very liquid-y and tasted like a shot of tomato juice. The curtido (coleslaw) was okay, too. Service is fairly slow, so don’t go when you’re in a hurry.

The breakfast burrito was satisfying, reasonably priced, and straightforward. But what stood out even more was the friendly service at this family-owned restaurant. The servers made me feel welcome and their hospitality truly enhanced my dining experience. One suggestion for improvement would be to group all the vegan items together on the menu for easier navigation, as they are currently scattered throughout the list. Apart from the breakfast burrito, other vegan options at Sunrise Restaurant include fajitas, french toast, and more. If you're in the Mission area, I recommend giving this spot a try for a tasty vegan brunch experience.

"Earlier this year Salty 's was featured in one of the top 100 places to eat in the Bay Area in 2022, and after trying it a couple times, it 's easy to see why. Quality and flavor, great customer service, it checks all those boxes. I occasionally visit the 24 hour fitness on Van Ness, and Salty 's happens to be just few short blocks away which makes it perfect when I 'm looking for a post-workout sandwich. And for those that know me, I love me my sandwiches. On my latest visit, I decided to go with the 'Glorious B sandwich, which come with turkey, bacon, avocado, pepper jack, veggies, and garlic mayo. The blend of flavors and high quality of the turkey is no wonder it 's at the very top of the menu list. It 's one of those sandwiches, that you can bring to park and not need a ton of napkins to get through. It was well put together, with the ratio of all the ingredients matching well. Nothing overpowering, just sandwich perfection. The size of the sandwich I thought was the perfect size for my appetite. As I 've gotten older I can 't put down as much food as I used to, and after one-half I knew I could 've stopped eating, be content, saved the rest for later. But of course I ate the whole thing and nothing sounds better than taking a quick power nap right after. I love that their menu has so many different sandwich combinations, so definitely take time to check their menu before calling-in/walking-in to order because it 'll definitely save you some time. On my latest visit, I was in and out in 10 minutes. Definitely towards the top of my list of sandwiches in this part of town!"
