"I was stationed at MCB Twentynine Palms from 1975 to 1978, and I made it a point to visit this place once or twice a month. I always brought a different friend along, and no one ever had a complaint. The food was great, the music was lively, and it had the best entertainment I found along that stretch of the river. I'm really glad to see that the place is still thriving. I need to get a group of my fellow Marines together for a visit. I have some amazing memories at the SUNDANCE!"

We visited for Taco Monday, and the tacos were fantastic! They were just $1.00 each, and they had a 2-for-1 margarita special. It was a fun and affordable evening. I highly recommend the Sundance Saloon!

The Sundance has closed down, and it appears to be for good. The entire property has been sold to private investors who are allegedly planning to build luxury condos in this prime location near the Colorado River. I'm truly heartbroken—this was my favorite place to spend time. The Sundance is gone forever.

I’ve been going to this restaurant for nearly 50 years. We’ve had amazing experiences celebrating special occasions there, and the wet T-shirt contests were unforgettable. Even in the early '80s, when it caught fire and they had to use a circus tent, it still attracted big crowds during the rebuilding process.
