"I understand the issues, but the food is fantastic! The neighborhood isn't too bad either. Parking can be a bit tricky at times, but once you manage to get through that, you’re in. The layout for ordering in the dining room could be better, but it gets the job done. My main issue was with the person taking our order; he barely spoke and just stood there staring at us, almost expecting us to read his mind. However, once we got past that awkwardness, everything we tried was delicious. Just a bit of a mystery there—it's not overly warm... Overall, it’s pretty much perfect for takeout if you prefer not to interact with anyone."

Even though they got my order wrong, the food I received was outstanding. The sandwich was delicious, and the cheesecake was superb.

When looking for late night eats, this place definitely met our needs. I only wish they would consider offering the option to get loaded sweet potato fries and a way to fill a reusable water bottle. Their fries were good and the gyros even better.

I usually go for the same dish every time—Lamb Gyro and Baklava. They are always EXCELLENT, every single time! Mwah! I've also tried their pizza in the past, and it's delicious! I love their sauce and crust; it's thin but not too thin, crispy yet chewy, and they use all fresh toppings. Again, YUM! View menu

"Highly recommend Sweet Peaz Southern Kitchen! The food is served fresh and hot. We were a party of eight and ordered Fried Whiting with Yams and Mac n Cheese, Chicken and Waffles, Fried Chicken Wings, Chicken Tenders, Fried Shrimp, French Fries, and Collard Greens. The Sweet Potato Waffles were absolutely delicious! The fried chicken, shrimp, and fish were cooked perfectly and tasted as good as they looked. The seasoning was just right—not too salty, allowing the flavors to shine. The yams and collards were a real treat for the taste buds. And the cornbread? Simply amazing. My only disappointment was that the first taste was free (haha). The Mac n Cheese was decent, but the Chicken Tenders didn’t quite live up to their name; however, they did remake them for us to take home. The space is small and simple, with old-school music that adds to the enjoyable dining experience. They limit dining to one hour to ensure everyone can enjoy the food, which I appreciate—I dislike when people linger for too long when others are waiting. The staff were friendly, making us feel valued and appreciated. Prices are reasonable. One downside was that many items were unavailable, including grits—which was a big letdown since I was looking forward to the famous Shrimp and Grits—as well as butter, potato salad, seafood salad, and tartar sauce. I recommend calling ahead if you’re craving a specific dish. Despite this, it was a great dining choice and lived up to the positive reviews. Overall, we left satisfied and would gladly return. Parking is street parking only, as there’s no dedicated lot."
