"This neighborhood bar is the kind of place where you're likely to be greeted by familiar faces if you live nearby. The food was solid bar fare, and I was thrilled to discover a delicious handmade vegan burger on the menu—it was really tasty! Unfortunately, that was pretty much the extent of the vegan and vegetarian options, aside from fries and tater tots. The only downside was the service; they were quite short-staffed, and it took a long time for our food to arrive. They do have one pool table and a few slot machines for entertainment."

"The food has consistently been excellent, and the ambiance is delightful. The new owners are doing a great job. However, we had a disappointing experience last Saturday. They were quite busy and definitely seemed understaffed, which led to both the hostess and waitress being unusually rude, creating an uncomfortable atmosphere. At one point, the waitress accidentally bumped into a chair while moving around and, visibly frustrated, swore and threw the chair into the yard where guests were playing cornhole. It was quite shocking! The hostess was also dismissive, making it feel as though the customers who just wanted to enjoy their meals and the music were more of a nuisance. We really love this place and hope this was just a temporary situation for them."

"We had a new chef and a large group of 12, which resulted in a long wait of an hour before all of us were served. Some in our group had finished eating by the time others received their food. However, the waitress did a great job considering the circumstances. The restaurant had an excellent beer selection and the food was decent. Overall, it's a good neighborhood pub with a price range of $20-30 per person. We would rate the food a 3, service a 2, and atmosphere a 3. We recommend trying the Club Sandwich."

"My husband and I found this little gem years ago when he was looking for a restaurant that served Open Faced Turkey sandwiches. So we headed out from Gladstone and in really no time we were there. They serve both American and Chinese foods and do a nice job with both. From the Open faced Beef and Turkey sandwiches, to the Salt Pepper Shrimp and Almond Fried Chicken. We've not found anything they offer that doesn't taste great. Fanny our server is always there to make our visit wonderful. They do offer a full bar as well."

"Honestly we barely come here as it is and the last time we were there recently my boyfriend and I got treated so poorly by these two girls that were bartending that night so what happened was me and my boyfriend were going in and we were getting our drinks we had beer and enjoying our time with our friends and then all of a sudden one of the girls comes up to us and says hey is this your car and we said yes apparently she accused us saying that there is an oil leak coming from out of her car and we're like no because we were out another place before that and there is no oil leak and we know which parking way we went through into the parking lot and she started to argue with us telling us that we have to leave your done! she physically grabbed our drinks out of our hand and then she followed us outside to check the leak and it was not from our car because the car that was there before us they drove off and you can see the tracks of where they drove out of the parking lot and a line of oil leak from another vehicle she gives me attitude the whole time and realizes that the leak is not from our car and maybe like 10 minutes after the other girl comes out and start screaming at us telling us that we have to leave it's our fault when the leak was not even coming from our car it was the car before us and they were getting in our face screaming and yelling and then they had a whole bunch of other people willingly screaming and yelling at us this is the worst experience I've ever had at this place I've never had somebody physically grab something out of my hand and get in my face!"
