"I had one hour before they closed. Walked in and was not greeted. One person ahead of me and I watched as the employees looked lost and confused. Not sure if they were new because this was my first time at this place. One thing that stood out is none of the workers had urgency nor great customer service. After 20 min I got my food and went home. Food was definitely rated a 1, my least favorite Caribbean food. Assuming this was a one time occurrence, I decided to try their food truck at an event, same experience... no greeting, no sense of customer service, no urgency, and twice the cost of the other trucks. I left!"

Incredible flavor, as if it was cooked over a pit. The jerk chicken and beef patties were outstanding!

We catered mild jerk chicken and plantains for a 20 person dinner party. Everyone loved it! We will be back for more!

The food here is really delicious, but the quality can be inconsistent. Sometimes you’ll find certain items available, like rice and beans, while other times you won’t. The jerk dish used to be excellent, but lately, it has started to taste more like barbecue from a grill rather than authentic jerk flavor. It's still tasty, but not quite what I expected. View menu

I ordered the curried goat along with cabbage and macaroni and cheese. Unfortunately, the macaroni and cheese was served as a dry block and was quite disappointing. It felt like it was prepared as an afterthought by the cooks, or perhaps I just happened to visit at a bad time. However, the goat was fantastic, and I would highly recommend it. Just skip the macaroni.

Goat was good but portions were small, peeved because they charged me extra for what I thought would be real jamaican yams and provisions, instead I got SWEET POTATO. I honestly feel scammed : . Other order a few pieces of goat and a TON of rice. Don't mind paying $17 for food but would expect my money's worth! Tried to call about this error with the yam but phone didn't work. Not going back to RIP OFF CARIBBEAN.

Decent. Never been to found or supporting Caribbean restaurants for this exact reason. Order stewed chicken and they gave me the smallest amount that they could give without me trying to realize. Why up charge all of your items and skimp your customers? It’s so sad. Anyways, will be the last time I come. I am also carribean also and never knew other Caribbean’s to be STINGY with food. Good luck to this so called business View menu

I'm Jamaican, so when I want a taste of home now and again, I'll cook or come to a spot. This isn't it. The food was decent, the rice and peas were good, and the cabbage was good. Jerk chicken wasn't spicy enough. The customer service was horrible. They forgot my drink. She's looked at me as if I didn't pay, and I had to remind her. I paid for my stuff so give it to me, please. I normally don't do a bad review, but I would never come here again.

It was simply...OK. This is my first time at this establishment and I probably won't be back. I ordered a small oxtail that automatically came with a ton of rice and peas (that were sweet and somewhat dry...stingy with the gravy which was also sweet) and cabbage (which was the most delicious part of the meal). I ordered some mac and cheese as well and that was bland and greasy. The oxtails were tender though. The flavors weren't giving that authentic Jamaican.

"Yesterday, my sisters treated me to Brunch for my birthday at Venture, where I had previously eaten at for lunch and had fond memories of (pre-pandemic). Unfortunately, it's changed, and not necessarily for the better in my view. I remember it as being a farm-to-table gem, where you could find innovative and healthy options as a regular thing. Maybe you still can achieve those but just not at Brunch on a Sunday. I first thought I'd get the Cherries Jubilee French Toast; but upon finding out from our server that the cherries were going to be the consistency of cherry pie filling I searched for something I hoped would be healthy. I picked from the regular Brunch menu the King's Plate because I figured the root vegetable hash would offer some tasty and relatively healthy ingredients. The flavors of the root vegetables were sadly overpowered by the excessive garlic in the heavy sausage gravy. The homemade biscuit was a perfect accompaniment, however. It just would've been nice to have some fresh fruit served with it. There was nothing on the regular or particular Sunday Brunch specials menu to recommend it for a 2nd try. I may give regular lunch another try. Or I may go somewhere I'm more confident of getting a healthy, fresh, reasonably priced meal. The service was great, and as always, I tipped our server of her effort, not my satisfaction with the food. There's great potential at Venture, and I always remembered it as being a great destination restaurant- one you'll drive more than the usual miles to get to- but it needs some work to recreate a more universally enticing menu."
