"It was a gloomy day, and I wasn't sure when the rain would hit again. I felt tired, grumpy, and hungry—just a typical fall evening, right? So, I summoned my last bit of motivation and made my way to a spot where I thought Superman might be hiding out. It was my first time at this place, and the guy behind the counter, who I'll call Bill, was nothing short of legendary. I'm convinced Bill is a wizard in disguise! He made me feel like I had been a regular there for years, as if we were old friends catching up on our caffeinated adventures. His friendly and warm demeanor had me half-expecting him to offer me a magic potion of cheer with my coffee. Bill, my friend, you turned my grumpy day into a delightful comedy of mishaps and a heartwarming story of human connection. Your coffee shop may not have a bar, but you've certainly got the best café in town. Hats off to you and your enchanting brews!"

I have never walked into any place, anywhere, where everyone sincerely introduced themselves to me — not once. This restaurant and its regular patrons truly embody the essence of hospitality. The people here deserve a 5/5 rating, as does the coffee. Thank you, and I look forward to coming back!

As for kid-friendliness, Bill provides sodas and donuts, making it a perfect spot for children. Parking is convenient, with around 6-7 spaces available. However, there are two steps leading up to the entrance, which may pose a challenge for some; though, there might be a lift option available for those who need it.

When you think hometown coffee shop , this is it. Bill, the owner, is wonderful and so welcoming. We dropped in while visiting the area and ended up staying for an hour chatting with Bill and a number of regulars that came in. It was evident that they all love this spot too! When we are in Morton Grove, this is our go to.Oh, and the coffee is delightful!
